Let’s see what’s in my September 2018 BuddhiBox!
The box!
A peek inside.
BuddhiBox now sends their “boxes” in reusable canvas bags. Every bag features a new yogi-inspired phrase/mantra each month.
An info card included descriptions of each product as well as their retail prices. It also indicated if an item is vegan, organic, and/or cruelty free.
September’s box focused on the 7 chakras, so BuddhiBox included this helpful guide to help you learn how to effectively balance them.
BuddhiBox Hamsa Necklace ($28)
As someone who never wears gold, I’m always happy to see silver jewelry pieces included in subscription boxes. This pretty necklace features the Hamsa hand — a symbol of the Buddhist religion which offers protection and promotes happiness & good fortune. The two beads above it (sodalite and aquamarine) help to balance the throat chakra, which promotes creativity, expression, and communication.
Ganesha Mini Statue ($15)
Ganesha is one of the most worshipped deities in Hinduism. It’s thought to be the remover of obstacles and promoter of intellect & wisdom. This tiny statue stands about 1.5 inches tall and is made of a weighty metal. Add it to your sacred space or carry it along with you for good luck and protection.
Chakra Card Set ($12)
This set of colorful watercolor cards is an easy way to help you learn the basic meaning of each chakra. Each card is dedicated to a different chakra and lists its name, core meaning of each energy center, a mantra specific to each chakra, and its corresponding symbol and color.
Good JuJu Apothecary Third Eye Roll-On Treatment ($20)
Get a little help balancing your third eye chakra with this all natural roll-on treatment. Simply apply in between your eyebrows, on your temples, and the back of your neck 3-4 times daily to promote mental clarity and relief from anxiety. Ingredients include wildcrafted coconut oil, organic jojoba oil, organic lavender & chamomile flowers, and amethyst gemstones.
Raw Crystal Point ($6)
As you can see, my raw crystal point arrived broken. 🙁 I suppose it’s still usable though, since one of the ends remained in tact. Either way, these healing stones are helpful in directing healing energy and energizing your meditations. It also aids in focusing and amplifying your intentions.
Love and Lotus Naturals Chakra Bath Salts ($14)
Another way to help balance your third eye chakra, these bath salts encourage you to renew & relax as you breathe in their calming scent. Ingredients include epsom salt, dead sea salt, pink Himalayan sea salt, and European spa salt.
September’s BuddhiBox featured plenty of items to help you learn about and balance your chakras. My favorite items this month were the Good JuJu essential oil roll-on, Hamsa necklace, and mini Ganesha statue. The total value of everything in September’s box was $95! — Thinking about signing up for BuddhiBox yourself? — You can save 20% on your first month with coupon code “yogaaddict“!
