Bulu Box is a monthly subscription box that introduces you to new health, nutrition, and weight loss products. Each box contains 4 to 5 premium samples from a wide range of top brands. Since supplements and weight loss products can be pretty pricey, this is a great box for those who like to “try before you buy”.
There are two different box themes to choose from: The “regular” box and the weight loss box. Both boxes are just $10 a month with free shipping. There’s also a great reward points program that makes it easy (and cheap) to purchase more products. — Each box usually has about 5 products, and when you review them you’ll get 50 points (10 for each product). 50 points = $5.00 to spend on your favorite products in their online shop!
I was recently sent September’s Bulu Box (weight loss) for review. Here’s what was inside…
As always, the info card listed all of the items in the box, along with a description and retail price for the full size products.
They also included a helpful tip sheet on how to get the most value out of your subscription.
Natrol NuHair – FULL SIZE! This is listed as a “lifestyle bonus”. It’s a styling foam that’s designed to stimulate your hair follicles and give the appearance of thicker, fuller hair. My husband said he’d give it a try and see if it makes any difference since his hair is on the thinner side. The info card has the value listed at $24.99, but I found it for $12.64 on Amazon. Either way, this alone is worth more than the cost of the box.
Probium Probiotics for Kids – This is a 2-serving packet of probiotics for kids. The tablets are chewable, vegetarian, gluten-free, and made without GMOs. Each serving contains over 6 billion CFUs of good bacteria.
RidgeCrest Dream On – An herb-based sleep aid that naturally calms the body and helps you get a good night’s sleep. The packet includes a 3 night’s supply of vegetarian friendly capsules.
Detour Smart Bar in Blueberry – Whole grain oatmeal bar with Greek yogurt drizzle. This has 10 grams of protein, 3 grams of fiber, and only 4 grams of sugar. It’s certified gluten free and contains no preservatives.
K-Pax Energy – A dietary supplement made up of vitamins, amino acids, caffeine, and antioxidants to give you a boost of energy for your workouts. Three 2-tablet servings were included.
Manitoba Harvest Hemp Pro 70 – I’ll definitely be using this in a smoothie soon. It’s hemp protein powder with natural organic vanilla flavor. One serving has an impressive 15 grams of protein!
This was an alright Bulu Box for me. The hair foam was obviously worth more than the cost of the box, so that’s cool. I’ll use the hemp powder for sure and I might try the sleep aid. The bar wasn’t vegan, so I won’t be trying that and I’m just not a fan of energy supplements.
