BooksTo.Me is a neat subscription service that sends you a printed photo book of your latest Instagram images on a monthly basis.

The process is super simple. —  You just sign up for the service and a few days later, you’ll receive your first book using the photos you’ve posted over the past month. Gourmet Body Treats is small, family-owned beauty/cosmetics company dedicated to providing quality products that are not only effective, but also 100% cruelty-free.

They offer a large selection of natural body care products and cosmetics including mascara, lipstick, body scrubs, soaps, and more. They even have biodegradable pencil sharpeners (I didn’t even know those existed!). All of their products are vegan, cruelty free, kid-safe, and made right here in the USA (Texas, to be exact.) To show how seriously they take the whole “all natural” thing, they actually have a list of ingredients that they’ll never use posted right on their website. Take & Make DIY Matryoshka Doll Kit Review & Giveaway! Ends 7/29/14

I am SO not a crafty person. Like… at all. However, when I was offered an opportunity to review one of Take & Make’s DIY kits, I decided to go for it.

Take & Make is a site dedicated to bringing crafters and do-it-yourselfers together by way of their custom DIY kits. They currently have 3 different kits to choose from — Personalized Glow-in-the-Dark Room Decor, DIY Matryoshka Doll Charms, and DIY Layered Wrap Bracelets. (Psst — If you’re a crafter with some original projects of your own, you may want to check out their site. They’re looking for more talent and may create a self-branded kit of YOUR project! How cool!)

I decided to go with the Matryoshka Doll kit, even though the thought of creating, designing and painting tiny clay figures scared the crapola out of me. Thankfully (and surprisingly), they turned out pretty neat. [read more…]

New Kid’s Subscription Box! Animal Trackers Review & Giveaway! Ends 7/27/14

Animal Trackers is a fun new subscription box for kiddos age 3 and up. Each month your child is introduced to a new safari animal and gets to explore their world with a little help from a cartoon friend named Bode Bear.

Subscriptions are affordable (just $14.95 shipped, US only) and include a variety of games and activities. The introductory package includes a neat metal lunchbox to hold all of the materials that your child will receive in the months thereafter.

They also offer a separate subscription for older kids (age 6+) called Space Scouts, which focuses more on planets, constellations, and “space stuff”. 😉
