I haven’t checked out a Darby Smart box in quite a while, so I was happy when they offered to send me January’s box for review.
If you haven’t heard, Darby Smart is a DIY/craft subscription that sends you a new mystery kit — the “To DIY for Box” every month. I’ve been getting Darby Smart’s “To DIY For” box for a couple months now and am finally getting around to reviewing one. — October’s project was just way too cool not to share here. Plus, I’m kinda impressed by how well I did with it. (Hey, it’s a big deal for someone as craft-challenged as I am!)

When Darby Smart contacted me last month about reviewing one of their DIY kits, I was a little nervous. As I’ve mentioned before, I am NOT too skilled at the whole “arts & crafts” thing. Like, at all.
