Clean Bar Box is a new subscription that sends you a new selection of handmade bar soap every month. I love bar soap and pretty much use it exclusively now (no more shower gels for me!) so I was excited to check out this box.
All of their soaps are totally free of animal products, parabens, lauryl sulfate, petroleum products, and preservatives. Each monthly box includes a variety of scents that are chosen to reflect the current season. [read more…]

The theme for this quarter’s My Pretend Place Dress-Up subscription (reviewed here) was “Superhero” and featured a cape, shield, and other fun “superhero stuff”. May’s Pretend Play Projects box had a similar crime-fighting theme — “Ninjas”!

I’ve had the Berry Cart app on my phone for a while now, so of course I was excited to hear that they started offering a subscription box comprised of the same great brands that they feature on the app.
Every item in your Berry Cart box will have a cash back offer available on the app. So if you try something you love, you’ll be able to save money when you decide to purchase it on your own. Fit Snack time! I’m really liking all the healthy snacks I’ve been discovering from this box. Lots of vegan ones too!
Fit Snack doesn’t just toss any ol’ snacks into their boxes. They have a set of guidelines that help them choose items that are both well balanced and nutrient dense. When selecting products to include in the box, they use the Fit Snack “Perfect 10″. Put simply, they look for snacks that fall into one or more of these categories: Nutrient Dense (high in protein, complex carbs, low sugar index), Consciously Made (GMO free, organic production, sustainably farmed), and Diversified Energy (gluten free, clean eating, paleo, raw).
Each box will contain 6 to 9 healthy (yet satisfying) items that have total retail value of at least $30. While most of the items fall into the “snack” category, they also send cooking mixes, oils, and the like.
