Causebox is a quarterly subscription box featuring a curation of products that are community focused, ethically made, environmentally conscious, and impact driven.
Each season you’ll receive an artist-designed box containing 6-8 full size items, along with an issue of Good News magazine, which shares more about the impact that your membership is making. Also, at the beginning of each season, you’ll receive access to their exclusive Add-On Market, a members-only curation of over 300 products at up to 70% off. Annual Members are given the option to customize choice items in their Causebox each season.

Let’s see what’s in my Fall 2020 Causebox!
Everything was shipped in a colorful box designed by German illustrator Cynthia Kittler.
A peek inside!
A full color, 38-page booklet (aka Good News magazine) included a list of all of the available product options/choices for Fall’s box, along with closer looks at all of the items, interviews, recipes, and more.
Bathen Waffle Towel Set in Charcoal ($90 value)
Annual members were able to choose from the above towel set (in charcoal or mint) OR a Bathen Bathrobe (also in charcoal or mint, $90 value). Since we’re in the process of buying a new (to us) house, I went with the towel set in charcoal to match our master bathroom. The set consists of 2 bath towels and 2 hand towels, both featuring a 100% cotton waffle knit. This unique pattern makes the fabric extra absorbent and allows them to dry faster. The towels were handwoven by a team in Panipat, India and were colored with 100% non-toxic dye.
Artisan Direct Milky Way Lantern ($40 value)
The second customization choice for annual members was the lantern above or a Tease Tea 3-in-1 Tea & Fruit Tumbler ($39 value). The lantern was actually the spoiler that ultimately convinced me to subscribe, so it was an easy choice. 🙂 Crafted in India by female-led teams of artisans, this beautiful piece is made of gold plated steel and features a celestial-themed design. The opening at the bottom allows you to place the lantern over a tealight candle to bring starry night vibes to any room. — I love it!
Tribe Alive Criss Cross Cuff ($42 value)
The third customization options included the cuff above, Aromatherapy Associates De-Stress Muscle Gel ($39 value), or Volim Love Scrub ($56 value). I was a little torn on this one, but decided to go with the Tribe Alive cuff. While I’m not crazy about rose gold (or anything non-silver), I did like the simplicity of the criss-cross design. The cuff was handmade in Moradabad, India by a team of mostly female artisans. It features brass material electroplated in rose gold and it’s adjustable to fit all wrist sizes.
Buzzy Seeds Basil Grow Kit ($10 value)
The final customization choice was between the seed kit above and The Green Co. Set of 10 Reusable Facial Pads ($10 value). I have terrible luck at keeping plants alive — let alone growing them from seed, but I still went with the basil kit. (Yep, I’m a glutton for punishment.) The kit comes with everything you need to (hopefully) grow your own organic basil: a metal pail/pot, seeds, growing medium, instructions, and even a healthy recipe.
Core Bamboo Bamboo Serve Set ($35 value)
All subscribers received the Core Bamboo Serve Set above. This was another spoiler that I was excited about because we’ve been meaning to buy a new cutting board. Score! The board measures 12″ x 10″ x 1/2″ and is made of organically-grown, FSC certified bamboo. The set also comes with a handy spatula and pair of tongs. I love when subscription boxes include super useful/practical items!
Way of Will Brightening Face Serum ($37.50 value)
The final item (that all subscribers received) was this Way of Will Brightening Face Serum. Formulated to be lightweight and easily absorbed by skin, this serum is rich in vitamins, high in antioxidants to fight free radicals, and keeps skin hydrated. Each compact bottle packs a powerful punch when it comes to skin-loving ingredients that moisturizes, brightens, tones, and revitalizes dull, tired-looking skin for a radiant complexion.
I really enjoyed the Fall 2020 Causebox and I’m not quite sure why I didn’t subscribe sooner! My favorite items were the Artisan Direct Milky Way Lantern, Core Bamboo Serve Set, Bathen Waffle Towel Set, and Buzzy Seeds Basil Kit. The total retail value of everything in my box was just over $250! 😀 — Remember, for a limited time, you can save $10 on your first box just by using this link to sign up!
