Let’s see what’s in my Spring 2021 Causebox!
Everything was shipped in a whimsical box designed by illustrator Charlotte Molas.
A peek inside!
A full color, 38-page booklet (aka Good News magazine) included a list of all of the available product options/choices for the Spring 2021 box, along with closer looks at all of the items, interviews, recipes, and more.
FEED Projects Canvas Market Tote ($108 value)
ALL subscribers received this first item, with annual subscribers getting to choose from the 3 available colors — Glacial Grey, Coastal Stripe, or Sea Blue (shown above). I wavered a bit between the stripes and solid blue, but am happy with my ultimate decision. 🙂 The tote features tons of handy compartments, including a zippered inside pocket. It’s made with 100% cotton canvas and brass/gold plated hardware and the handles are (vegan-friendly!) faux leather. With every tote made for this partnership with Causebox, 3 meals were donated to children in need. Very cool!
Nimble Champ Lite Portable Charger ($49.95 value)
The second customization choice for annual members was the portable charger above, Palm + Perkins Set of 4 Upcycled Napkins ($38 value), or Diff Eyewear Finn Sea Tortoise Blue Light Glasses ($85 value). I did like the napkins, but I knew the chances of me actually using them was pretty slim so I opted for the charger. Made from bioplastics and recycled aluminum, the Nimble Champ Lite Portable Charger holds two full phone charges for convenient power on the go. Eco-bonus: Nimble recycles 1 pound of e-waste for every product they sell.
This Works Stress Check Sleep Spray ($25 value)
ALL subscribers received this item in their Spring box. This Works Stress Check Sleep Spray is made with 100% essential oils — including lavender & chamomile — to help lull you off to sleep with its natural calming & relaxing effects. It’s vegan-friendly, cruelty-free, and contains no parabens, phthalates, or sulphates. To use, simply spritz on your pillow and get ready to catch some z’s.
Glass Ladder & Co. Katherine Tech Organizer Roll ($35 value)
The fourth customization choice was between the tech organizer roll above, Stojo Collapsible 16 oz. Cup ($20 value), or Maji Sports Stretch & Exercise Bands (3 pack) ($24.95 value). Honestly, I wasn’t too excited about any of these choices, so I just went with the one with the highest retail value. 😉 Glass Ladder & Co. is a female-owned and operated business “committed to providing cruelty-free, sustainable products without compromising quality”. Their line of professional women’s accessories is 100% animal-free and Farm Sanctuary Certified. The tech roll above is perfect for containing chargers, cords, pens/styluses, and more.
Three Ships Lip Treatment Kit ($30 value)
The fifth customization choice was between the lip kit above, PUR Lit Mist Illuminating Setting Spray ($24 value), or PROVINCE APOTHECARY Regenerating Exfoliator + Resurfacing Mask ($36 value). This was another set of items that I was pretty much indifferent to, so I just opted for the one that I had the most chance of using (though still very slim). The lip kit above includes both a Buttercream Hydrating Lip Mask to hydrate/rejuvenate your lips and a Vanilla Lip Exfoliator to help scrub away dull skin. Even without removing the seals, I can smell their sweet scents and am almost tempted to try them out just for the smell alone. 😉 All Three Ships products are vegan, certified cruelty-free, gluten-free, pregnancy safe, and free of parabens, phthalates, SLS + SLES, mineral oil, silicones, and artificial flavors/colors.
WYLD French Pink Clay Konjac Sponge ($16.90 value)
Both annual and seasonal members received this final item (no customization options). Originally, there was a choice between this and Adesse New York Power Couple Nail Care Duo ($36 value), but due to shipping delays that product was omitted. The WYLD French Pink Clay Konjac Sponge is made from Konjac root fibers and infused with pink clay from France. It’s 100% natural and is great for gently cleaning out your pores to leave skin soft and smooth.
In all honesty, this wasn’t my favorite offering from Causebox, but it certainly had a great overall value. My favorite items from the Spring 2021 box were the FEED Projects Canvas Market Tote, Nimble Champ Lite Portable Charger, and This Works Stress Check Sleep Spray. The total retail value of everything in my box was just under $265! 😀 — Remember, for a limited time you can save 20% on your first Causebox (reg. $54.95) with coupon code “SPR20“!
