April 2017 Chococurb review time!
If you’re new to them, Chococurb is a monthly subscription that hand selects 5 to 7 treats from the top chocolatiers in the world to be included in each box. The folks at Chococurb believe that chocolate is more than just food – it’s an experience to be enjoyed and shared. That’s why they only include the finest treats, made by the best brands. When you sign up, you’ll get to fill out a taste profile in order to receive the chocolates you’re most likely to enjoy. They also have a shop on their site, so if you discover a new chocolate you’d like more of, you can buy it right from there.

Let’s see what’s in my April 2017 Chococurb box!
Everything was shipped in a small blue box with the Chococurb logo on top.
A peek inside!
They don’t typically include an info card, since the boxes are curated based on each subscriber’s individual taste preferences. However, many of the chocolates can be found in their online shop where you can find out more about each one.
Amedei Toscano Blond
An Italian chocolate bar made with 63% dark chocolate and infused with real bits of dried peaches & apricots. It’s gluten-free, vegan-friendly, and contains no artificial flavors or colors. I used to love orange chocolate back in my non-vegan days, so I can’t wait to dig into this bar!
Theo Cinnamon Horchata
This organic milk chocolate bar is made with 79% Fair Trade ingredients and includes a unique combination of crisped brown rice, crisped quinoa, cinnamon, and ground vanilla bean. I’m not sure how I feel about the whole cinnamon in chocolate thing, but the rest sounds delicious. 😉
Fran’s Chocolates Macadamia Gold Bar
A mini candy bar that combines crunchy macadamia nuts with gooey caramel and smooth dark chocolate. It’s made with organic, Fair Trade ingredients and is also non-GMO & gluten-free.
Dick Taylor Craft Chocolate Belize
I can’t say I’ve ever seen a chocolate bar with a pull tab before. Fancy! 😉 This small batch bar was handcrafted in Northern California using just two simple ingredients: organic cacao and organic sugar. The beans are sourced from the Toledo District, in southern Belize and have tasting notes of dried plum, tart cherry, and jasmine.
Pitch Dark Jacobson Pinot Noir Salt 73%
Molded and packaged by hand in Portland, OR, this bar features 73% Nicaraguan chocolate blended with pinot noir infused sea salt from Jacobsen Salt Co. It contains just four ingredients and is gluten-free & vegan-friendly.
Another great assortment of artisan chocolates from Chococurb! My favorite this month would have to be the Amedei Toscano Blond bar. Yum! Remember — if you’d like to try Chococurb, you can save 10% on your first order with coupon code “ROSEBUDS“!
