Let’s see what’s in my January 2018 Chococurb box!
Everything was shipped in a small turquoise box with a white Chococurb logo on top.
A peek inside!
Pacari Andean Lemon Verbena Bar
This award-winning chocolate bar is made from pure Ecuadorian cacao and flavored with real lemon verbena essence. It’s certified organic, gluten-free, and also vegan-friendly (yay!). I’ve had a similar lemon-infused bar once before and it was delicious so I can’t wait to give this one a try!
JCoco Cayenne Veracruz Orange in White Chocolate
I didn’t read the entire label, so I was surprised to open this up and find 3 individually wrapped “mini bars” tucked inside. — A great way to portion it out so you don’t end up eating a single (full size) bar all in one sitting. 😉 Each 1-ounce bar consists of a creamy white chocolate infused with spicy chili powder and orange oil. Certainly a unique flavor combo!
Theo Coconut Mint Coconut Bites
I’ve gotten the Classic Coconut Dark Chocolate version of these coconut bites back in October’s box and they were absolutely delicious. That said, I was a bit sad to see these ones weren’t also vegan-friendly, but I’m betting they’re just as awesome. I mean, what’s NOT to love about minty coconut covered in smooth organic chocolate? Mmm.
Wm Chocolate Belize Moho Valley 68% Dark
This all natural, single-origin chocolate bar is crafted with cocoa sourced from rainforest farms surrounding southern Belize’s Moho River. It’s sweetened with unrefined cane sugar and features notes of blackberry, custard, and candied pineapple. It’s also gluten-free and vegan-friendly.
Vosges Super Dark Coconut Ash & Banana
Okay, I gotta be honest here… This bar sounds a little bit, um, intimidating? It consists of 72% dark chocolate, Sri Lankan coconut, Hawaiian bananas, and charcoal coconut ash. (Pretty sure they lost me at that last one.) It’s gluten free, non-GMO, Fair Trade Certified, and vegan-friendly. Once I can work up the nerve, I swear I’ll give it a nibble.
Dilettante Chocolate TruffleCremes
Two flavors of Dilettante TruffleCremes were included. “Milk Chocolate” features a smooth, creamy milk chocolate ganache, while “Toffee Crunch” has a fine milk chocolate ganache with crunchy toffee bits.
Another great box of artisan chocolates from Chococurb! I was pleasantly surprised to see that three of the treats were vegan-friendly as well. Yay! 🙂 Remember — if you’d like to try Chococurb, you can save 10% on your first order with coupon code “ROSEBUDS“!
