Let’s see what’s in my June 2018 Chococurb box!
In the warmer months, Chococurb ships their box inside of foam chest with cooling packs to prevent the chocolates from melting.
Inside was the familiar turquoise box with its white Chococurb logo on top.
A peek inside!
As always, all of the chocolates were tucked into an insulated silver pouch to further prevent melt-age.
Chocolat Moderne NYC Street Nuts Bar
While I’ve gotten quite a few different Chocolat Moderne bars in my Chococurb box, they’re usually in the form of their square “Avant-Garde” bar offerings. This is the first non-square bar I’ve received and it looks incredibly delicious. It consists of 35% cacao milk chocolate studded with NYC-inspired “street nuts” including caramelized almonds, cashews, and peanuts. Yum!
Wm Chocolate Ghana Rainforest Alliance 75% Dark 2016 Harvest
This handmade single-origin chocolate bar is sweetened with pure, unrefined cane sugar and features ethically-traded cocoa from Ghana, one of the world’s most important cocoa-producing countries. The vegan-friendly (yay!) bar touts tasting notes of chocolate pudding, malt, and peanut butter. I didn’t personally taste peanut butter, but it was a delicious little bar. 🙂
Philip Marks White and Dark Marbleized Chocolate
These handcrafted bars — 2 per package — from Philip Marks Chocolates are made with a unique combination of 88% dark Maracaibo swirled with a creamy 36% Edelweiss white chocolate. They’re created in small batches using only the finest natural ingredients and are gluten free.
Seattle Chocolate Many Thanks Milk Chocolate Truffle Bar
This sweet & salty chocolate truffle bar is made with Rainforest Alliance Certified cocoa and is blended with bits of toffee and sea salt. It’s gluten free, non-GMO, and makes a delicious little thank you gift.
Theo Dark Chocolate Salted Almond Butter Cups
Last month’s box included a milk chocolate/peanut butter version of these treats, so I was thrilled to see the vegan-friendly dark chocolate/almond butter variety in June’s box! Not only are these delectable bites vegan, but they’re also certified organic, fair trade, non-GMO, and palm & soy free. Oh, and totally delicious too!
Another great selection of premium chocolates from Chococurb! 🙂 — Remember, if you’d like to try Chococurb you can save 10% on your first order with coupon code “ROSEBUDS“!
