Let’s see what’s in my May 2017 Chococurb box!
In the warmer months, Chococurb ships their box inside of foam chest with a cooling pack to prevent the chocolates from melting.
Inside the box, the chocolates were protected even further with an insulated bubble pouch.
Theo Lemon Milk Chocolate Bar
This limited edition bar is part of Theo’s “Spring Collection”. It features organic/fair trade milk chocolate infused with lemon essential oil and ground vanilla beans for a sweet, slightly tart flavor experience. I’ve actually had a dark chocolate bar with lemon once before and it was surprisingly good. I’m thinking fans of orange chocolate would probably really enjoy this combo as well.
Wm Chocolate Honduras Wampusirpi 70% Dark + Hawaiian Red Salt
A handmade single-origin chocolate bar sweetened with 100% whole cane sugar. The cocoa comes from Wampursirpi, a remote district of the Honduras where the beans are organically grown without the use of chemicals. The bar also features Hawaiian red sea salt and has tasting notes of malted milk, banana, and caramel.
Mayana Cloud Nine Chocolates
These decadent little confections are comprised of a thick layer of caramel, along with a layer of fluffy marshmallow — all coated in rich 66% dark chocolate and topped with a sprinkle of Fleur de sel.
Seattle Chocolates Spring Surprise Bar
Oooh! I was so excited to see that this bar is vegan-friendly! Gluten-free too. 🙂 It’s a dark chocolate truffle bar made with dry roasted almonds, coconut flakes, and sea salt. YUM!! Can’t wait to devour it.
Fran’s Smoked Salt Caramels
Slow cooked caramels coated in organic, Fair Trade milk chocolate and sprinkled with gray & smoked salt. Made with pure ingredients including cream, cane sugar, butter, lemon juice, and vanilla extract.
More great artisan chocolates from Chococurb! My favorite this month was definitely the (vegan-friendly!) Seattle Chocolates Spring Surprise truffle bar. 😀 Remember — if you’d like to try Chococurb, you can save 10% on your first order with coupon code “ROSEBUDS“!
