Let’s see what’s in my September 2017 Chococurb box!
In the warmer months, Chococurb ships their box inside of foam chest with a cooling pack to prevent the chocolates from melting
A peek inside. As always, all of the chocolates were tucked into an insulated silver pouch.
ALMA Sea Salt Hazelnut Crunch
This decadent little bar consists of 70% bean-to-bar dark chocolate filled with organic hazelnut praline that’s roasted and ground in small batches. It’s topped with chunks of candied hazelnuts and finished with a sprinkle of Jacobsen Salt Co.’s Oregon sea salt. Surprisingly, this bar was 100% vegan friendly… Not surprisingly, it was delicious!
Jcoco Edamame Sea Salt Milk Chocolate
Instead of traditional chocolate-friendly nuts like almonds or peanuts, this bar features roasted edamame (soybeans) for a unique twist. It also contains soy sauce, which honestly doesn’t sound too appealing. Certainly a bar for the more adventurous chocolate connoisseur!
Chococurb X Chocolat Moderne Smoked Sea Salt Avant-Garde Bar
This brand pops up in many Chococurb boxes, so I’m not all that surprised to see a collaboration bar. A special limited edition flavor, this bar features creamy white chocolate with smoked sea salt caramel. I know I always say it, but these bars are SO dang pretty. 🙂
Forte Artisan Chocolates Orange Jazz
I LOVE orange chocolate, so I was happy to see that this handcrafted bar is 100% vegan-friendly. Yay! It’s made with 64% dark chocolate and flavored with pure orange oil & orange zest. Can’t wait to tear into it!
Theo Salted Toffee 55% Dark Chocolate
An organic, fair trade bar made with smooth dark chocolate and blended with buttery chunks of toffee & a pinch of sea salt. It’s soy-free, gluten-free, and kosher.
Justin’s Mini Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups
I’m a big fan of Justin’s nut butters and these dark chocolate peanut butter cups take it up that extra notch by throwing chocolate into the mix. SO GOOD. Needless to say, these were devoured shortly after taking this photo. 😉
Another awesome assortment of chocolatey goodness from Chococurb! I was happy to see that half of the treats were vegan-friendly and everything arrived in perfect, unmelted condition as always. 🙂 Remember — if you’d like to try Chococurb, you can save 10% on your first order with coupon code “ROSEBUDS“!
