Let’s check out the February 2017 Chroma Club book!
As always, the book was shipped in a sturdy cardboard mailer to keep it from getting damaged on the way.
Each page spread now features a short bio on the featured artist on the left side and an illustration to color on the right.
This month’s book included quite a few fairy/fantasy themed illustrations. I like how the fairy in the drawing above looks like she’s been spotted and isn’t too happy about it. 😉
A trippy witch with quite the surplus of flowy, tangled hair.
Closeup of a mermaid-themed page. So much detail!
Speaking of detail… This one will require some seriously fine point markers.
For those who prefer less details, there were plenty of “simpler” designs like the one above — which was actually one of my personal favorites.
Very spring-y!
Another spring/Easter(?) themed page. Cute!
As always, I didn’t include photos of every illustration in this volume of Chroma Club, but there were 16 designs in all. While I loved the cool details in a lot of the fairy/fantasy illustrations, for some reason I think my favorite was the simple geometric landscape design. I think because it reminds me of an old school video game. 😉 — Remember, if you’d like to sign up for Chroma Club you can save $3 on your first month when you use coupon code “COLORZEN” at checkout! (This makes your first book just $5 shipped!)
