Let’s check out the March 2017 Chroma Club book!
As always, the book was shipped in a sturdy cardboard mailer to keep it from getting damaged on the way.
Each page spread features a short bio on the featured artist on the left side and an illustration to color on the right.
I love this sweets-themed page! It’ll be a fun one to bring to life with color.
Last month’s book featured a lot of fairy/fantasy themed pages, which continued into this month with the illustration above. I can’t tell if the little circles are bubbles and she’s under water, or if they’re just land-based magical fairy orbs. 😉
There are usually a few pages of less detailed, geometric designs that have really grown on me. I love their simplicity and the way they lend themselves to get really creative with color placement.
If you’re not too good with shading, this drawing already has some added to give your finished piece more depth.
Plenty of hippie/springtime vibes going on in the “Live Simply, Love Deeply” design above. That happy little snail is too cute.
As always, I didn’t include photos of every illustration in this volume of Chroma Club, but there were 16 designs in all. A little something for everyone! — Remember, if you’d like to sign up for Chroma Club you can save $3 on your first month when you use coupon code “COLORZEN” at checkout! (This makes your first book just $5 shipped!)
