I got my Citrus Lane box a little earlier this month, so that was a nice change. No hangin’ out in Jersey this time. *fist pump* Musta been too hot at the Shore.
If you’re not aware, Citrus Lane is a monthly subscription for babies/kids aged 0-5. The products are tailored to your little one’s age and can include books, toys, toiletries, snacks, and sometimes a little gift for mom. This is my third month and I’ve yet to be disappointed. Subscriptions start at $25/month (less with 6-month/yearly subs) and you can get $10 off your first month by clicking here. My reviews of previous months can be found here.
This month’s box was for a 12-month old girl and the theme was based loosely on summer/travel/outdoors. Okay, I guess there wasn’t really a set theme… Let’s just go with “Summer-ish”. Alright, let’s see what I got…
Zo-Li On-The-Go Snack & Formula Dispenser – This is cute! The containers can all be used together, as shown, or unscrewed and used on their own. The lid on top has a built-in spout that makes pouring powdered formula nice ‘n easy. It’s BPA- and phthalate-free and dishwasher safe. (Amazon Price: $15.00)
Me4Kidz Little Buddy Antibacterial Wipes – I always feel unsure about using normal baby wipes on the girls’ hands/faces (I may have done it once or twice), so these are always good to get. They’re alcohol-free and lightly scented. (Amazon Price: $2.49)
Ella’s Kitchen Nibbly Fingers (Mangoes & Carrots) – The girls have been resisting the whole “solids” thing, but we haven’t tried anything like this yet. These are all natural, organic, and packed with lotsa wholesome ingredients. I like that it’s made with actual dried fruit, as opposed to juices/concentrate. Hopefully the girls will be as impressed as momma is. (Amazon Price: $4.19)
Melissa & Doug Peek-a-Boo Panda – SO adorable! I love Melissa & Doug toys, so I was excited when I found out these would be in the box this month. I was hoping for the turtle, but this is just as cute. The panda’s arms flip up and can be pushed back down for a fun game of peek-a-boo. Chloe & Ev haven’t figured it out yet, but it didn’t stop them from fighting over the poor thing. He smiled the whole time, so I think he was cool with it. (Amazon Price: $6.55)
10 Free Postagrams – I think I downloaded the Postagram app once and deleted it. I thought the concept was neat, but I was too cheap to try it out. Basically, you upload a photo and they turn it into a plasticized postcard that can be sent to anyone you wish. The photo has perforations so you can pop it out of the card and stick it on the fridge, in an album, up your nose, whatever floats your boat! I’ll probably just send them all to myself. I’m lazy like that. (Retail Value: $10.00)
I was very happy with my July Citrus Lane box. We’ll use everything in it and may even have to get another panda to avoid any more “bear battles”. I paid $15 for this box, due to a referral credit I had. All totaled, the whole box comes to $38.23. Definitely a good deal, even if I had paid the regular $25 for it!
