I still haven’t received my own March Citrus Lane box yet, but my mom got hers a couple days ago… This seems to happen a lot and makes absolutely no sense since we live all of 20 minutes apart. Anywho, she brought it along today when she stopped over to visit the kiddos. Thanks, mom!
If you haven’t heard, Citrus Lane is a monthly subscription for babies/kids aged newborn-5. It’s $29/month (less with longer term subscriptions) and includes a nice assortment of toys, books, snacks, toiletries, etc. Sometimes they even include a gift for mom. It’s by far one of my favorite boxes to open each month.
My mom ages this box up, so I think this is for a 3 or 4 year old.
Let’s see what’s inside our (aged up) March Citrus Lane box!
March’s preschool box features items to “stimulate the imagination” and get kids excited for new responsibilities.
Handstand Kids Custom Apron (~$20) – We don’t have any kid-sized aprons for the girls yet, so I was happy to see this in the box. The pattern is adorable and I love the polka dot accents. The info card says it’s a Citrus Lane exclusive item, but the only difference I could see from the “regular” apron on Amazon was the lack of a pocket on this one. It’s cute either way. (Oh yeah, I should probably note that this had a really weird smell when I took it out of the package… I’m not sure if it was the plastic packaging itself or what, but it was pretty funky. The apron’s made of 100% cotton though, so I’m sure it’ll be fine once it’s washed.)
Stephen Joseph Wallet ($8.78) – My girls are still too young to even know what money is (thankfully), but when the time comes I’m sure they’ll love this pretty pink wallet. It features a big ol’ butterfly velcro closure with plenty of pockets for stashing their moolah.
Melissa & Doug Reusable Sticker Pad ($4.79) – I always loved these reusable sticker scenes when I was a kid. This one features 5 different scenes with over 200 stickers. It’s also a Citrus Lane exclusive, but it looks like the only difference is that it’s smaller than the regular pad (maybe to fit in the box better?).
Back to Nature Honey Graham Sticks (~$1) – I’ve gotten these a few times before (maybe in past Citrus Lane boxes) and my girls loved ’em. They’re made with all natural ingredients and are free of artificial preservatives, high fructose corn syrup, and hydrogenated oils.
All totaled, the value of the items in this month’s Citrus Lane box (using Amazon prices) comes to roughly $34.50. Not crazy high, but still over the regular $29/month cost. The apron is my favorite item since we don’t have any for the girls yet. The wallet and sticker pad I’ll put away for when they’re a little older.

Did you check to see if your box has even shipped yet? I THINK your kiddos might be the same age as mine & CL has yet to ship my box. They did send a email out on Monday saying they were waiting on products & would update as soon as they knew anything :-/.

I just checked and it says mine is out for delivery today. 🙂 Weird that yours is delayed. They must have ran out of something. Bummer. 🙁
