I’m very excited about this month’s Citrus Lane review (more so than usual) because I get to host a 3-month giveaway! How cool is that?!
If you haven’t heard, Citrus Lane is a monthly subscription for babies/kids aged newborn-5. It’s $29/month (less with longer term subscriptions) and includes a nice assortment of toys, books, snacks, toiletries, etc. Sometimes they even include a gift for mom. It’s by far one of my favorite boxes to open each month.
My girls are about 3 months shy of 3 years old, so this box is geared towards that age.
Let’s see what’s inside our May Citrus Lane box!
May’s box features a selection of items for all of your “on-the-go adventures” during the upcoming summer season. As always, the info card listed everything inside and included a few discount codes on additional items.
Hape Ice Cream Shop Sand Toys ($8.50) – I *just* ordered a sandbox for the girls last week so this came at the perfect time. We have a bunch of Hape toys and love them all. They’re super sturdy and can withstand anything your kiddos unleash on ’em. This set includes 3 ice cream cones, 3 cups, a scoop, and a pail to hold it all. Love it!
Tea Collection Kalinda Baby Trapeze Dress ($29.50) – I’ve seen Tea Collection featured on a few blogs but have never ordered anything for the girls (a bit too pricey — especially since I’d need them in double). Thanks to Citrus Lane, we now own a Tea dress! (Guess they’ll have to share.) I love swingy, summery dresses and this one looks SO comfortable. I’m not crazy about the print, but the colors are pretty. I just wish I had 2. 😉
Goodbyn Portions-on-the-Go (~$10) – I couldn’t find this exact product on the Goodbyn site, so I found something similar to link to. Maybe it’s a newer offering? Either way, I like it. I’m a sucker for little food containers & storage-related things, and this is no exception. The set comes with 4 different containers, all with corresponding lids. All of the pieces are BPA-free and dishwasher safe.
Sunscreen Bands (~$5) – I was going to take these out of the package for the photo, but since light affects the bands, I opted to wait until we’re ready to actually use them. Inside are 5 cute wristbands that monitor UV exposure by changing color the longer you’re in the sun. When it turns a certain color, that’s when you know to apply more sunscreen.
This Citrus Lane box was one of my favorite ones to date! The dress alone more than covers the cost of the entire box. Plus, the sand toys are super cute, Goodbyns are handy, and the sunscreen bands will definitely get used. The total value of all the items (using Amazon prices) comes to roughly $53. Almost double the cost of a monthly subscription — not too shabby!
