Oh hey — It’s another October Citrus Lane review! This is actually the third box I received this month — the first one was my “regular” box, the second was a mystery box, and this one is the box my mom subscribes to. Triple the goodies!
Citrus Lane is a monthly subscription for babies/kids aged newborn-5. It’s $29/month (less with longer term subscriptions) and includes a nice assortment of toys, books, snacks, toiletries, etc. Sometimes they even include a gift for mom. It’s by far one of my favorite boxes to open each month.
October’s box included items to use indoors and keep little ones entertained as the weather gets cooler. This box is geared towards a 3 year old girl.
Another Citrus Lane review. Let’s see what’s inside!

Okay, so I totally cheated and took a peek before this “first look” photo was taken… Sue me. 😉
Janod Dominoes ($17.99) – I only recently learned how to play dominoes and I probably would have been more into it if we used a fun set like this. Animals are a lot more fun than boring dots. Though they do include plain ol’ dots on the other side once your kiddo advances to counting.
Hero Cape from Little Adventures ($15.99) – As soon as I saw this, I knew it was something E would be into. She’s the goofier of the twins and a bright pink superhero cape is totally her style. (She has a plastic yellow wand — “Wanda” — that she’s carried around and slept with for at least a year now. Such a silly kiddo.) The cape is made of a thick, velvety material with a simple velcro closure at the neck. My girls are 26 months old and the bottom hits right above their feet — perfect size!
This is the clearest photo I could get of E (and Wanda) with the cape… Superheroes are FAST.
Hohner Kids Maracas ($4.18) – I was happy to see these maracas since the girls have been fighting over the maracitos that we got in our regular box. They love shaking these things and I love that the sound isn’t annoying (yay!). Win/win!
Annie’s Cheddar Snack Mix (~$1.00?) – This is a mix of bunny-shaped cheese crackers and pretzels that contains no artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives. It’s also made with organic ingredients. We got these in another subscription box not too long ago and the girls didn’t want anything to do with them. This time they devoured ’em. Kids…
The total value of all the items in this box (using Amazon prices) is $39.16. Not bad! More importantly, my kiddos are totally happy with the contents. I have a feeling we’ll be seeing “Super E & her sidekick, Wanda” quite a bit in the coming days.
If you’re thinking about signing up for Citrus Lane, you can save 50% on your first month by using the promo code “FIRST” at checkout. Even better — from now until the end of October, Citrus Lane is holding their semi-annual “Best Prices Ever” event! They’re offering 25% off ALL subscriptions — no coupon code needed!

Great review! I love Tea Collection clothing. I usually only buy it second hand tho because it is so pricey. Great box this month!
