Herbal Bliss is a new subscription box that features an assortment of all natural, herb-based products. Each box contains 5 samples in the following categories: Aromatherapy, Blissful Body, Culinary, Well Being, and a Spotlight product.
Many of the products included in the Herbal Bliss box are handcrafted in small batches, often by family-owned businesses. This ensures the highest quality, most carefully crafted products on the market. Monthly subscriptions are $25/box, but can go as low as $18/box with multi-month plans.
Herbal Bliss recently sent me their inaugural box for review.
Here’s what was inside!
The goodies were shipped in a white box featuring a colorful Herbal Bliss logo printed on the lid. Nice!
Bright yellow tissue paper gave this box a nice, cheerful vibe.
A small envelope contained business-card sized info cards for each product. Again, loving the cheerful colors.
Wimberley Valley Gourmet Zesty Garlic Dipping Herbs – I love dipping fresh bread in olive oil & herbs. Mmm! This blend contains a mix of orange peel, garlic, rosemary, thyme, and more. You can also use it to make a homemade dip, but I’m aaaall about the bread dippin’ goodness.
Old Factory Soap Company Mint & Mary Bar Soap – This sample-sized bar soap smells incredible. It contains an invigorating mix of essential oils that includes spearmint, peppermint, rosemary, and pennyroyal. Sadly, it also contains goat’s milk, so I’ll be passing it along to my mom who’s also a big fan of natural bar soaps.
Urban Herbal Chocolate Mint Air Freshener – Oooh! I love this — it smells SO good! I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about an air freshener that smells like mint & chocolate, but wow. It totally works. Reminds me of winter and the holidays. Yum.
EZ Herbs Calendula Salve – A versatile salve made with calendula flowers, this can be used to soothe a bunch of different skin problems including rashes, bug bites, chapped lips, cuts, and more.
Starflower Essentials “Mini Spa Facial in a Bag” – This mini spa kit includes everything you need for the perfect, natural facial: an exfoliant cleanser, toner, moisturizer, face mask, and herbal essential steam.
I didn’t do a cost breakdown, because I wasn’t really sure of the retail values (especially on the sample sizes). However, it seems like a decent value, since natural/herbal products tend to be a bit more pricey.
Herbal Bliss has kindly offered to give my readers a chance to win one free box of herbal goodies! Just enter via the form below. Giveaway ends November 17th. Good luck!
October 2014 Herbal Bliss Review
I had no idea what to expect, since this was their very first box. I like that they include products in a variety of categories — home, body, food, etc. I’m looking forward to trying the dipping herbs and the air freshener will be great to use during the holiday season. I’m interested to see what else will be offered in the coming months.
