I feel like I keep forgetting to post my Conscious Box reviews here. I know I didn’t include one last month… But to be honest, that box was kinda lame so I decided not to bother with a review. Thankfully, this month’s box was a little more blog-worthy. 😉
Conscious Box is a monthly subscription box that features eco-friendly/natural products. Items range from healthy snacks, to natural toothpaste, and everything in between. There are 3 different boxes to choose from: The Vegan Box (which I get), The Gluten-Free Box, and the Classic Box. All boxes are $19.95/month, but you can almost always find a coupon code — often up to 50% off! Woo! (There’s a code below for a FREE box!)
Now let’s see what was in this month’s November (vegan) Conscious Box, shall we?
Yogavive Apple Chips – This is what looks to be a full-sized bag (it has 4 servings)! I’ve had plenty of apple chip snacks thanks to sub boxes, but this is the first time I’ve received chocolate flavored ones. These are made with organic, non-GMO apples and organic cacao flavor — that’s all. Each serving is only 35 calories.
Harmony Acres Bar Soap – I could smell this as soon as I opened the box. The scent is “Minty Lyptus”, which is a nice blend of peppermint and (yep, you guessed it) eucalyptus. It’s made with all natural ingredients including shea butter and essential oils.
Abike Alata Black Soap – Black soap scares me. This is the second sample of it (different brand) that I’ve gotten in the last month. It kinda resembles solidified vomit. (Sorry, but it totally does.) I guess it’s supposed to be all sortsa good for your skin though… It also removes makeup.
The Source Coffee Company Coffee Beans – These are fresh roasted, ethically sourced coffee beans from Nicaragua. I’m all about using my Keurig, so I’m not sure what to do with these whole beans. :/
Mighty Leaf Organic Tea – Whole leaf artisan teas. I received 3 flavors (all organic): Earl Grey, Mint Melange, and my favorite, Spring Jasmine.
Ivre de Fleurs Blood Orange & Juniper Lip Balm – Thanks to sub boxes, I don’t think I’ll ever need to buy another lip balm again. I’m borrowing the description from the company’s site cos I suck at describing “beauty products”: Blood orange essential oil is accented with juniper berry essential oil in our luxurious lip balm. Our lip balm base includes mango butter and extracts of evening primrose & orchid, along with a blend of carefully chosen oils. Oh, and it’s vegan too!
Reboot-izer Pouch – This is a strange little pouch with water on the bottom and a powdery substance on top. You squeeze the water to break the seal and blend both “ingredients” together… Then you drink it. The special blend of plant extracts is supposed to eliminate free radicals and destress/detox your body.
Nature Nate’s Glorious Grains – Okay, this looks like straight-up birdseed. (I know, I know… I’m vegan so I should be used to eating birdseed. hardy har har.) According to their website, the grains are “popped and roasted to perfection” in olive and avocado oil. They contain lots of healthy omega 3’s and other good-for-you stuff. Tweet, tweet.
Sunology Sunscreen Sample – I’ve gotten this in another sub box and I’m not sure that I’ve tried it yet. It’s an all-natural sunblock with SPF 50. It’s water-resistant and fragrance free.
Relax-All with Phenibut – I saved this for last because I HATE getting supplement pills in sub boxes. Even when they contain funny-sounding ingredients like “phenibut”.
Aside from the stupid supplement and birdseed, I thought this month’s Conscious Box was pretty good. There were even a couple full-sized products (apple chips & lip balm), which is always a plus.
Wanna try Conscious Box out for yourself? You’re in luck, cos right now you can get your first box FREE when you click here and use the code “FREEBOX” (just pay shipping)! 😀
Disclosure: I purchased this box with my own funds. I was not compensated in any way. All opinions are my own. Post contains affiliate links. Vegans don’t actually eat birdseed… Well, most of ’em anyway.

I tried the code today and it is not valid anymore. Thanks. I hope to find another code soon and try out this box. I get Ecocentric Mom and love it. Great Blog!

Oh no! “Cybermonday” will take half off your order — I just tried & it’s still valid. Hope that helps! 🙂
