Dottiebox is a fun little subscription service that features “high quality handmade items, small businesses, and indie brands”. The goodies you receive can be anything from household items and candles, to jewelry and beauty products — it’s always a surprise.
Dottiebox has two size options: The “original” Dottiebox ($20/mo) and the Dottiebox Mini (2-3 items at $13/mo). Due to the handmade nature of the items, boxes are limited and can easily sell out.
I was recently sent the November Mini box to review. Let’s take a look at what was inside, shall we? Onward!
Here’s the box that it was sent in. It was pretty darn small… They’re not joking when they say “Mini” box. I’m not complaining, just sayin’ what a wee lil’ box it was. 😉
Dinglewood Design & Press Coasters – First, let me just say how much I enjoy the name “Dinglewood”. There. I said it. Moving on… These are handmade nautical coasters that are printed with an old school letterpress and hand-mixed inks. Besides coasters, Dinglewood Design also makes custom wedding invitations, business cards, personal stationery, etc. The nautical thing isn’t really my style, but hey, they’re just coasters. Who couldn’t use a few extra coasters, right? (Besides, they’ll do a good job “anchoring” my drinks! haha Awful!)
Glitter Guilty Nail Polish – Such a pretty color! — This is “Ice Princess”, a clear polish with blue and silver glitter. Perfect for a nice “winter wonderland” look. (If that makes sense… Bare with me, I’m not too good at the whole “beauty review” thing. Clearly.) Glitter Guilty makes super fun, glitter-tastic nail polish that’s non-toxic and cruelty free. When I took a gander at their site I was totally impressed by all of the fun color/glitter combos. Took me back to the 80’s, when I was obsessed with having crazy glitter-fied nails. Good times! (Oh — almost forgot — Glitter Guilty also has their own sub box!)
Aaaand that’s the November Dottiebox Mini. While I would have liked to see one more item included, I still thought it was a cute box. I’ll totally use both of the items though, so I’m happy. 🙂
Disclosure: I received this box for review purposes. I was not compensated in any way. All opinions are my own.
Haha This is the best review of the Dottiebox I’ve come across. Enjoy the coasters 🙂
hehe Thanks! Love me some Dinglewoods. 😉
