Covet Crate is a new lifestyle subscription box specially curated for the stylish, professional woman.
Each box will feature a selection of fun, yet practical items to “empower, motivate, inspire, and encourage you”. In addition to physical/tangible items, you may also receive experiences and opportunities (such as classes and downloads) via gift cards and discounts. You can expect to receive items like office supplies & accessories, stationery, beauty & skincare products, office decor, books, snacks, and more!
Two different size options are available. The “Girl Boss Box” is $44.95/month, while the larger “Lady Boss Box” is $84.95 (plus shipping).
Let’s see what’s in the January 2016 Covet Crate!
Everything was shipped in a large (and heavy!) black box with the Covet Crate logo on top.
A peek inside! Love the black satin bow. 🙂
A large, full color booklet included background info and photos for all of the items featured in the box. — Oh, I received the “Lady Boss” (larger) version.
The Fire Starter Sessions: A Soulful + Practical Guide to Creating Success on Your Own Terms by Danielle LaPorte – Well that’s quite the lengthy title. This book is described as “a modern day pep-talk and soul-centered Q&A” to help you achieve your truest desires. I’ve heard a lot of buzz around Danielle LaPorte and her Desire Map book/program(?), but I’m really not that big on trendy self-help type reading. I might skim through it a bit, but I’ll likely pass it along to someone who’d be more apt to actually use it.
The Desire Map 2016 Signature Weekly Planner – Another Danielle LaPorte product, this weekly planner “incorporates your soul and your to-do list; your gratitude and your goals; your deepest desires with your day-to-day”. There are spots to record your monthly desires, feelings, goals, and more. Again, not really my thing, but I can totally see why it was included in the box.
The Happy Planner Gold “Take Note” Planner Stickers – I was a little surprised to see not one or two, but three packages of these gold foil planner stickers. (Perfect to use with the weekly planner above!) Each pack has 5 sheets, so there’s 15 sticker sheets in all.
Carpo Coffee Co. Atwater Breakfast Roast – Coffee! This whole bean breakfast brew consists of Costa Rican beans that have been slow roasted for ultimate flavor. It features a citrus, nutty taste with a rich caramel aroma that’s best experienced when brewed using a pour-over method.
Leaner Creamer Travel Packets – This all natural creamer claims to suppress your appetite and promote weight loss. It’s made with a blend of coconut oil, green tea extract, and other natural ingredients. As with most so-called “dairy-free” creamers, it does contain a milk derivative and is therefore not vegan-friendly. Aw. 🙁
One Canoe Two Slim Notebooks – A set of two 6″ x 8″ notebooks that slide easily into most planners or purses. Each book features a matte cover with gold foil, rounded corners, and 64 lined pages. Perfect for journaling, list making, roughing out ideas, and more.
Harvest Paper Co. “Like a Boss” Black & Gold Imprinted Pencils – You can show ’em who’s boss… or like a boss… with these chic black & gold pencils. They consist of #2 graphite (important for those Scantron sheets!) & California cedar wood, and are hand imprinted with love. 😉
Heidi Swapp Gold & Black Notepads – A package of 4 small gold, white, & black notepads. They have little bits of adhesive tape on the back for you to stick inside your planner or wherever else you plan to use them. A couple of the designs would even make for cute gift tags. 🙂
Minc by Heidi Swapp Gold Binder Clips – 9 small gold binder clips to give your paperwork a little bling.
Fleurt Collective Prints – Two high quality 8″ x 10″ prints were included: A black & white Audrey Hepburn quote and a “She believed she could so she did” print in a metallic gold. Great framable art for your office!
Ready Pretty Gift Card – Subscribers received a gift card for 25% off any styling service from Ready Pretty. Honestly, I was bummed that the cute box didn’t contain something more exciting. I guess for the right person (not me) this could be useful.
Eliza Gwendalyn Circle Pendant – As a bonus for first subscribers to their inaugural box, Covet Crate included this pretty sterling silver pendant necklace from Eliza Gwendalyn. It features the phrase “Find your tribe, love them hard” etched onto a round silver pendant. I love silver jewelry so I thought this was a great inclusion. Plus, it has a value of $125!
I was really impressed by the January 2016 Covet Crate! They included a great assortment of products that any professional woman would be thrilled to receive. The value was great too. I didn’t do a complete cost breakdown, but I was shocked by how much those little notepads and binder clips alone sell for on Amazon. Crazy! Of course, the bonus pendant totally makes the box well worth the monthly cost. 🙂
