Craftly is a lifestyle subscription box that features a selection of high quality products and handcrafted goods from independent artisans, as well as small & mid-to-large scale brands/businesses.
Each month you’ll receive a carefully curated box of 3-5 samples, full-sized items, and exclusive offers. Items can fall into any of the following categories: Accessories, home, beauty, grooming, tech, fashion, stationery, food, fitness, and more.
Subscriptions are $19.99/month plus shipping. They offer both a men’s and women’s box. (Note: This box marks the end of their subscription beta period, so I believe you can only order past boxes from their site now.)
Let’s see what’s in the August 2015 Craftly Box!
Everything was shipped in a plain brown box sealed with a Craftly sticker.
A peek inside.
The info card gives details on each of the products in the box including a brief description, retail value, and company website. This month there was a note at the bottom thanking subscribers for supporting them during their beta period.
Kitch Studios Red Arrows Towel ($10) – I love getting practical things like dish towels in subscription boxes. They’re almost always great quality and feature fun prints like this Kitch “red arrows” towel. What’s even cooler (to me anyway) is that this towel was designed, packaged, and hand-printed right here in Buffalo, NY. Woo!
Nuance Jewelry Bee Post Earrings ($39) – These funky bee earrings are made with white metal, high-quality plating, and come with surgical steel posts. I haven’t had pierced ears in forever, so I’ll pass these along to someone who’ll enjoy ’em.
Salty Road Sea Salt Caramel Taffy ($6.50) – Chewy caramel taffy with a slight crunch thanks to the addition of sea salt. My mom is all about caramel-flavored anything, so she’ll be happy to take these off my hands.
Yellow House Handmade “To the Moon & Back” Charm Card ($12) – This card is screen printed on 100% recycled kraft paper using water-based ink. It features a tiny moon charm strung on a nylon cord which can be worn as a bracelet or a necklace.
Once again, Craftly curated a nice box with great artisan goods. My favorite item is the dish towel and I love that it’s made right here in Buffalo. The total value of all the items was $67.50, which is super impressive for a $20 box!
