July 2017 Daily Goodie Box review time!
If you haven’t heard, Daily Goodie Box is unlike typical subscription boxes because it’s always 100% free! All you have to do is become a member (also free) and fill out a personal profile on their site. If you meet the requirements for a Goodie Box — based on various factors like demographics, interest in current products, etc. — you’ll be eligible for a box and shipped one for free. Each box will feature samples of various food, drink, and personal care items which you’ll be asked to review in your online profile. The more reviews you do, the better your chances of getting chosen for future boxes.
Disclosure: I received this box for review purposes. I was not compensated in any way. All opinions are my own. Post may contain affiliate and/or referral links.
Let’s see what’s in my July 2017 Daily Goodie Box!
As always everything was shipped in a small white box with a Daily Goodie Box logo on top.
A peek inside!
An insert card reminded me to review all of the products in my account, where they were listed with photos and links to each respective website.
Wat-U-See Popped Chickpeatos
I’ve had “regular” Chickpeatos (roasted chickpeas) before, but this is the first time I’ve seen a “popped” version. These look more like little green corn puffs and are made with a blend of green peas, rice, chickpeas, sunflower oil, and sea salt. One serving has 3 grams of fiber, 3 grams of protein, and only 100 calories. These are also gluten-free and vegan friendly. 🙂
Goddess Garden Organics Lavender Mint Lip Balm
This lavender mint lip balm not only hydrates your lips, but also protects it from the harsh rays of the sun with its built-in SPF 30 mineral based sunscreen. It’s certified organic, beeswax-free, and 100% vegan.
Flap Jacked Protein Smoothie with Greek Yogurt
A convenient (yet healthy) breakfast option, this protein smoothie powder is made with real Greek yogurt and fortified with flax, green coffee bean extract, and probiotics. Each serving is loaded with 20 grams of protein, 860mg of Omega-3s and 20% DV of calcium — all at just 170 calories.
Honey Stinger Cran-Apple & Walnuts Bar
A chewy snack bar made with all natural ingredients including cranberries, apples, walnuts, and honey. It’s 78% organic, gluten-free, non-GMO, and one bar has just 150 calories.
Natural Vitality Calm Anti-Stress Drink
These all natural supplement drink mixes are designed to restore a healthy magnesium level and balance your calcium intake, which results in natural stress relief. Five different flavors were included, all of which are vegan-friendly and non-GMO.
Palo Premium Cheddar Cheese Popcorn
Premium cheddar cheese popcorn made with non-GMO corn & pure coconut oil. It’s also free of trans fats, preservatives, and gluten.
Bálla Body Powder
Bálla “tingle formula” body powder for men is made of fine Italian talcum powder, along with essential oils of eucalyptus, peppermint, and rosemary. It provides a cool, tingly sensation as it helps prevent chafing, clammy skin, and odor. I took a little sniff and it certainly does smell like it would “tingle”. 😉
Detox Water in Mangaloe
A “bioactive aloe water” designed to promote skin health & elasticity, support digestive health & nutrient absorption, and promote immune & antioxidant defense. It’s made with all natural ingredients which are organic, vegan, and gluten-free. I’m both curious and nervous to try this.
Davidson’s Organics Coconut Vanilla Dessert Tea
Three packets of organic, caffeine-free dessert tea in coconut vanilla flavor were included. Ingredients consist of dried coconut, rooibos, carob, barley, chicory, and natural flavor. I think I’ll be saving these to enjoy during the cooler months.
Curoxen First Aid Ointment
The final item was a small sample packet of first aid ointment made from just 3 natural/organic ingredients: oxygenated olive oil, calendula, and lavender essential oil.
Yet another nice selection of samples and full size items from Daily Goodie Box! My favorite items this time were the Popped Chickpeatos, Goddess Garden lip balm, men’s body powder, tea, and natural ointment sample. 🙂
