A leaflet let subscribers know that this box — and all boxes over the last 2 1/2 years — was packaged with care by “Santa’s Elves” at Friendship Industries, a company who provides commercial work and training opportunities for persons with disabilities. 🙂
An info sheet listed all of the items inside, as well as brief descriptions, photos, and retail prices for each one.
Campfire Mini Marshmallows ($2.50 for 16 oz package, $0.50 for snack pack)
Two packages of Campfire mini marshmallows were included in December’s box: A giant 1-pound bag of original minis for baking, as well as a smaller 1-ounce bag of fruit flavored minis for snacking. Both varieties are gluten free & fat-free and the original version contains no artificial coloring.
Bahlsen Iced Cinnamon Stars ($4.99)
A great inclusion for the holidays, these star-shaped cookies make for a festive party treat. They’re flavored with hazelnuts & cinnamon and are coated in a smooth white icing. So pretty!
G.H. Cretors The Mix Popped Corn ($1.79)
“The Mix” is a sweet & salty combination of rich, buttery caramel corn and premium aged cheddar cheese corn. It’s made with non-GMO popcorn, real cheddar cheese, and other all natural ingredients. Two 1.5-ounce bags were included.
Chimes Original Ginger Chews ($1.99)
I love these ginger chews! They have a great, spicy kick of real ginger and are great for nausea/morning sickness, as well as any time you want a powerful burst of gingery goodness. They’re also gluten-free, vegan-friendly, and non-GMO.
Vahdam Tea Sampler ($2.00)
Vahdam Teas have been featured in a LOT of subscription boxes lately. This little box contained 5 different varieties to sample: Organic Himalayan, Chamomile Mint Citrus, India’s Original Chai Tea, Darjeeling Summer, and Turmeric Spiced.
Garden of Life Maple Sea Salt GŌL Bar
An organic protein bar made with whole foods including dates, cashew butter, milk protein concentrate, pecans, and maple flavor. It’s packed with 13 grams of fiber, 12 grams of protein, and 25% of the recommended daily value of calcium.
Dave’s Gourmet Creamy Ginger Citrus Hot Sauce ($6.99)
I was pleasantly surprised to see that this creamy hot sauce is actually vegan-friendly (creamy things are usually a no-go for me). 🙂 It’s made with a blend of red jalapeños, carrots, onions, ginger, cumin, and other all natural ingredients. It can be used as a cooking sauce or topping for your favorite foods. Yum!
SunSpire Dark Chocolate Sundrops ($5.99)
These candy-coated chocolates are a great alternative to M&Ms. They taste just as good, but are made without any artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives. My kiddos will be thrilled to see these for sure!
Chef Paul Prudhomme’s Poultry Magic ($3.00)
Enhance the flavor of any dish with this “Poultry Magic” spice blend from Chef Paul Prudhomme. It contains a flavorful mix of spices, salt, garlic, onion, and paprika. Use it as an ingredient in your favorite dish, or sprinkled on the finished product for an extra boost of flavor.
Hu Chocolate Crunchy Mint Dark Chocolate Bar ($5.99)
I saved the best for last! — A vegan-friendly dark chocolate bar made with real peppermint oil and studded with crunchy Fair Trade cacao nibs. 😀 The bar is not only vegan, but is also free of palm oil, refined sugar, gluten, emulsifiers, and other icky stuff. Awesome!
