Let’s see what’s in the September 2016 Degustabox!
As always, everything was shipped in a BIG (and heavy) box with the Degustabox logo on the side.
A peek inside!
An info sheet listed all of the items inside, as well as brief descriptions, photos, and retail prices for each one.
PopCORNers Carnival Kettle Popped Corn Chips ($3.29) – A full size (7 ounce!) bag of kettle corn flavored popped corn chips. These are made with non-GMO ingredients and are both vegan and gluten-free. Woo! Can’t wait to give ’em a try.
Michel et Augustin Shortbread Cookies ($1.99) – Each of these little boxes contains 6 bite-sized shortbread cookies. The first box features traditional shortbread, while the second includes chocolate chips as well.
Sam Mills Corn & Quinoa Pasta ($2.39) – I’ve been trying to make an effort to eat less gluten-containing products and recently made the switch to gluten-free pasta… That said, I was more than happy to see this corn & quinoa based fusilli in the box! Great timing. 🙂
BustaNUT! Flavored Peanuts ($3) – Okay, that name… Seriously? I’d love to see how their marketing people handle reaching out to distributors. Anywhooo… These are US-grown peanuts flavored with bourbon and maple bacon.
Hak’s Paks One Pot Rustic Ratatouille ($3.99) – An all natural one pot meal starter made with chunky tomatoes, zucchini, carrots, garlic, onion, herbs de Provence, and more. Just add a pound of meat or veggies and dinner is good to go.
The English Provender Co. Condiments ($7.35) – A trio of small batch condiments in glass jars included Caramelized Red Onion Chutney, Luxury Lemon Curd, and Sweet Tomato & Chili Chutney. These traditional English recipes are all made with non-GMO ingredients and are gluten-free.
Sparkling Bitters Grapefruit Mint Drink ($1.99) – A premium, all-natural sparkling water with a dash of tonic bitters. It contains zero calories, sodium, and sugar.
Zolli Drops ($4.99) – Zolli Drops are an all natural, sugar-free candy designed to help reduce the acidity and raise the pH in your mouth. Yep, a candy that’s good for your teeth!
Honey Bunches of Oats Cereal ($3.50?) – This actually wasn’t listed on the info sheet, so I’m guessing it was just a bonus item? It’s a full sized box, so that’s cool. 🙂
Entenmann’s Little Bites Chocolate Chip Muffins (~$1?) – I feel like this brand was just recalled for some reason… I’ll have to look into that. I remember eating these mini muffins when I was younger and I LOVED them. I used to warm them in the microwave for a fresh-out-of-the-oven feel. 😉
Toosum Gluten-Free Oatmeal Bar ($1.79) – A 100-calorie oatmeal bar made without any GMOs or refined sugars. It’s certified gluten-free and vegan too!
Nando’s Peri-Peri Sauce ($3.49) – Peri Peri is one of the most popular South African condiments in the world. It contains a blend of natural ingredients including sun ripened lemons, spices, Peri Peri (African Bird’s Eye Chili), and garlic. It can be used as a dip or to give flavor to just about any meal.
Degustabox is always such a fun box to open. — It’s always absolutely stuffed with products, most of which are full size. My favorite items this month are the quinoa pasta, kettle chips, one pot meal, and the Zolli Drops. — Remember, for a limited time you can get your first box for just $6.99 shipped! — Just use coupon code “LABORDAY16” at checkout.

H Wendyi, we got our first Degustabox today. It varied slightly from yours. The differences: we only received the large bag of Zollipops, and also only one box of Michel et Augustin Shortbread Cookies– choco chip variety. In their place they sent one 1.6oz bag of Orchard Valley cashews, and one 1.85oz bag of Orchard Valley cranberry almond cashew trail mix.
