Delightful Cycle is a time of the month subscription box that sends an assortment of items to pamper you during your period.
Each box will include a customized selection of products based on a survey that subscribers fill out upon signing up. You can expect to receive your preferred brand of tampons/pads, along with a variety of “fun” pampering items. These items can include bath bombs, beauty products, sweet treats, face masks, lip balms, scrubs, salty snacks, skin care products, and more.
Disclosure: I received this box for review purposes. I was not compensated in any way. All opinions are my own. Post may contain affiliate and/or referral links.
Subscriptions vary by box size/plan and start at $12.95/month. — For a limited time, you can save 25% on your first box with coupon code “HELLO25“!
Let’s see what’s in my September 2017 Delightful Cycle box!
Everything was shipped in a plain white (aka discrete!) box.
A peek inside!
Since the boxes are normally customized to each individual subscriber, there wasn’t an info card included. I didn’t fill out a survey, so the items I received were (I’m guessing) selected at random to represent a typical box.
These gentle wipes easily remove dirt & makeup while soothing the skin with cucumbers & aloe vera. They’re safe for sensitive skin and are even biodegradable.
Wet this this natural loofah pad and gently massage over the face with a smooth circular motion to remove dirt, exfoliate, and leave your skin feeling soft & smooth.
An “intense moisture” hand & body lotion to soothe extra dry skin. The ingredients are a little questionable (mineral oil, paraffins, red 40, etc), but if that isn’t an issue this is a good sized lotion to keep in your bag.
The classic crispy rice & marshmallow treats that everyone grew up on. Perfect for those time of the month sweets cravings.
A tinted lip balm infused with vitamins A & E, grape seed oil, and jojoba oil to help nourish, protect, and moisturize lips. The formula has a sheer tint and fresh, minty flavor.
Extra eyeshadow applicators are always nice to have around. These ones are double-sided and claim to apply makeup evenly without any streaks or creases.
This isn’t the most high-end shadow palette (I think I’ve seen it at the Dollar Tree) and it has parabens aplenty, but I guess it works if you’re on a budget and just want to play around with different colors.
A bag of crunchy cheese puffs to have on hand for those “salty/savory” type cravings.
There wasn’t much info provided on the label, so I’m not sure if this scrub was made in-house or by another company. It’s obviously handmade (with love!) and very… blue. 😉 It had a great blueberry scent, though clearly artificial. (I really wish an ingredient list was included on the label.)
I always appreciate getting pain relief products in period boxes because I never think to buy it myself. This tube is the perfect size for tucking in my bag so I always have it at hand. 🙂
A pink & purple iridescent zipped makeup bag/pouch held all of the hygiene products in this month’s Delightful Cycle box. Cute, but definitely more suited for a tween/teen than someone like myself who’s pushing 40. (Ouch.)
I received 11 pads, which I believe are Always Ultra Thins with 8 hour leak protection (and wings!). Thankfully, my periods are always pretty light, so these should get me through 2 cycles.
I don’t use tampons, so I had to do a little detective work and determined that these are Playtex Sport tampons. I received 5 regulars and 5 supers — so 10 in all.
Lastly, there were a handful of various candies for your additional sweets cravings. — Caramels, salt water taffy, and chocolate truffles.
Delightful Cycle is definitely a fun box to help make your time of the month a little less unpleasant. There was a nice mix of both snacks/treats and pampering products, as well as the necessary pads, tampons, and even some pain reliever. 🙂 — Remember, for a limited time you can save 25% on your first box with coupon code “HELLO25“!
