Let’s see what’s in the July 2016 (Deluxe) DogPeopleBox!
Everything shipped in a large box with the DogPeopleBox logo stamped on each side.
A peek inside!
An info sheet listed all of the items in July’s box, along with descriptions and retail prices for each one.
Exclusive T-Shirt ($21.99) – Designed exclusively by the founders of DogPeopleBox, this t-shirt features the phrase “Sorry my schedule is full… I’m spending the day with my dog”. While the design itself is fine, it kind of looks a little small to me. Then again, the size I was sent was an X-Large, so maybe that’s why?
Exclusive Tumbler ($14.99) – Another DogPeopleBox exclusive, this tumbler features original graphite drawings by one of their founders. The info sheet notes that it’s a free gift to thank subscribers for their support.
BadTags Custom Dog Tag ($14) – This cheeky dog tag has a lightweight recycled aluminum core with a special coating & silicone ring that glows in the dark. The graphics and colors are permanently fused to the tag and will not rub off or fade. My soon-to-be 4 year olds are obsessed with “toots” and I’m seriously considering turning this into a necklace for them. (To wear ONLY around the house, of course. 😉 )
Mootugs Toy ($14) – Mootugs are tug-o-war toys for dogs that are made from upcycled dairy cow milking tubes. They’re super durable and can hold up to plenty of biting, tugging, and pulling. Each one is made by hand in the USA (Minnesota).
Exclusive Tablet Sleeve ($45) – A 100% handmade tablet sleeve with a padded foam lining to keep your device protected. It also features a separate pocked to store small accessories, as well as a simple button closure. I get that this is a handmade item, but the $45 value seems a wee bit steep.
2 Little Bostons Cheddar Banana Pretzels for Dogs ($3.99) – When I saw the website printed on the label above, I had to do a double-take. Gotta say, 2 Little Bostons is a very cute name. 😉 These handmade pretzel treats are made with organic whole wheat flour, organic bananas, cheddar cheese and organic yogurt. (I didn’t snap a photo of the actual pretzels because I wasn’t sure if they were sealed inside or loose in the package and wanted to keep them fresh for my MIL’s doggy.)
SockSense Socks ($2.53) – Aw, how cute! These cotton blend canine-inspired socks feature a fun polka dot design. The dog’s ears are positioned at the top of the socks so that they poke out over them. (They kind of remind me of Panda Pals socks!)
Earth & Bear Friendly Printing Drawstring Cotton Bag ($3) – A hand-printed reusable bag with a fun image of a dachshund riding a longboard. It’s made of cotton and printed with eco-friendly ink. 🙂
DogPeopleBox is definitely a fun box for hardcore dog lovers! There was a nice assortment of products, and while I think some of the prices were a bit inflated (mainly the in-house made items), it was certainly a jam-packed box. — Remember, for a limited time, you can save 10% off for LIFE with coupon code “CELEBRATE“!
