Ecocentric Mom review time again! — Up until now I’ve only reviewed the “Mom & Baby” box, but starting this month I’ll also be reviewing the “Mom” versions as well. Yay!
If you’re unaware, Ecocentric Mom is a unique subscription box that features mom & baby products that are eco-friendly, natural, organic, and often vegan-friendly. There are 3 different box options to choose from: The “Mom & Baby” box (for moms & babies up to 18 months), “Mom-to-Be Box” (for the expecting mom), and just plain ol’ “Mom” box. They also offer an “Ecocentric Box” for women in general (moms and non-moms alike!).
Subscriptions are $24.95/month, or less with multi-month commitments. You can choose to receive boxes monthly or every-other-month. Shipping is free. — For a limited time, you can save 25% on your first box with coupon code “GOGREEN25“!
Let’s see what’s in the April 2016 Ecocentric Mom “Mom” Box!
As with their “Mom & Baby” box, everything was tucked beneath a layer of their signature pink tissue paper.
A peek inside!
The 2-sided info card lists all of the items in the box, along with a brief description of each one. Exclusive discounts are also included to use on future purchases.
Zabana Essentials Glow Stick ($9.95) – An all natural, 100% vegan highlighting stick for the face, lips, and body. This moisturizing balm features a hint of mica shimmer to give you a subtle “glow”, while essential oils & nectarine extract lend a light, tropical scent.
Captain Blankenship Mermaid Dry Shampoo ($6) – Okay, this is the cutest lil’ container of dry shampoo EVER. I usually don’t use dry shampoo, but this one is all natural and talc-free so I just may give it a try. Ingredients include arrowroot powder, kaolin clay, essential oils, and baking soda.
Natalie Therese Key Chain Zip Pouch ($14) – This neat handmade keychain/pouch is made from eco-friendly cork fabric and features a bright green zip closure. The material is harvested from cork oak trees every 9 years without harming or killing the trees.
Green Gaia Essentials Detoxifying Clay Mask ($10) – Used once a week, this detoxifying clay masks will help purify your skin by removing bacteria, toxins, and blackheads. It also helps to deliver minerals and nutrients to your skin while cleaning and tightening your pores. Ingredients are 100% natural and include dead sea clay, kaolin clay, bentonite clay, birch oil, and grapefruit oil.
Moondani Natural Breath Mist ($7.50) – An all natural breath mist made with organic and non-GMO ingredients. It contains no additives, preservatives, alcohol, or sweeteners. It’s also 100% vegan!
Crispy Green Mango Crispy Fruit ($1.49) – A fruit snack with one single ingredient: 100% freeze-dried mango! I ate these myself, but probably should have saved them for my kiddos. They had a cool “astronaut ice cream” type consistency. 🙂
MooGoo SPF Face Cream (sample) – A small sample of anti-aging face cream with SPF 15. MooGoo is a popular Australian brand that uses only high quality, natural ingredients.
I’m definitely impressed with my first Ecocentric Mom “Mom” box experience! They included a fun assortment of natural/eco-friendly products — many from new-to-me brands. A great box for discovering smaller, independent companies. The value was also fantastic — just under $49 in products! 😀 Remember, for a limited time, you can save 25% on your first box with coupon code “GOGREEN25“!
