August 2018 Ecocentric Mom review time!

Enclosed was a small card with a link to detailed information on each item in August’s box. I received the “Mom Only” box this month.
Marama Naturals Lavender Shortbread Cookie Scrub ($14.99)
An indulgent exfoliating scrub made with all natural ingredients including cane sugar, organic shea butter, organic jojoba seed oil, organic lavender flower oil, rosehip seed oil, Vitamin E, sunflower seed oil, and neroli oil. I was hoping to find a stronger shortbread scent, but all I could detect was lavender. — Still nice though!
Sitti Natural Olive Oil Loofah Soap ($6)
This 100% natural, vegan-friendly soap was handmade, sourced, and distributed by refugee women in Jerash, Jordan. Made with just 3 simple ingredients (plus loofah), it’s completely free of additives, preservatives, artificial fragrances, alcohol, animal by-products, or perfumes. I love how each bar is personally signed by the individual who made it!
The Bomb Gals Restore and Relax Luxurious Body Butter ($15)
This vegan-friendly body butter is loaded with natural moisturizers to hydrate your skin without feeling greasy. It includes soothing shea butter, coconut oil, cocoa butter, avocado butter, jojoba oil, and other plant-based ingredients. It also has a nice, light scent that isn’t overpowering in the slightest.
Derma-E Collagen and Peptide Serum ($9.99)
A nourishing facial serum that helps to reduce the look of deep lines and wrinkles to promote smoother, younger-looking skin. It’s infused with anti-aging antioxidants Vitamin C and green tea to help relax facial muscles and discourage formation of new lines. The formula is 100% vegan, cruelty-free, paraben-free, sulfate-free, mineral oil-free, lanolin-free, gluten free, GMO-free.
You Love Veggies Spinach & Kale Fruit Snack ($1.50)
My SUPER picky daughters (who refuse most fruits & veggies) absolutely loved this Spinach & Kale fruit/veggie leather! It’s made with 100% organic ingredients including mango pulp, apple puree, spinach juice, kale juice, artichoke fiber, and ginger. I was all ready to buy some of these for their school lunches until I saw the price — over $30 for 12 1-ounce packages. Yikes!
August’s Ecocentric Mom box included plenty of natural products for pampering your skin. My favorite items this time were the Marama Naturals Lavender Scrub, Sitti Bar Soap, and You Love Veggies fruit & veggie leather. The retail value of August’s box was just under $48.
