The long-awaited Ecocentric Mom Mystery box finally shipped this week! (I know, I know… Please try to contain your excitement.)
Here’s the deal: Every so often Ecocentric Mom announces a “bonus” box available for a one-time purchase of just $25. They promise that it’ll be jam-packed with eco-friendly essentials for both mamma & baby. The last time they offered one of these was back in June, and jam-packed it WAS. You can see that review right here. It was good. Very, very good.
So when they made this mystery box announcement over the summer, I knew I had to sign up for one. Had to. And I’m glad I did… There was SO much stuff!
Happy Creamies Organic Veggie & Fruit Snacks – This was the first thing I pulled out of the box and it was awesome to see. The girls LOVE these things and we don’t buy them often because they’re kinda pricey. I like that they’re made with coconut milk instead of dairy. They’re really tasty… Sorta reminiscent of astronaut ice cream. Yum!
Dapple Food-Grade Pacifier Wipes – These are perfect! I always find myself needing to wipe the girls’ hands or face when we’re out, but I don’t like using “regular” wipes for that… Nor do I want to carry a whole tub around everywhere we go. Now I can just toss a few of these into my bag so they’ll always be with me, even when the diaper bag isn’t.
PureLove Universal Surface Cleaner by BuggyLove – This is a big 8-ounce bottle of organic surface cleaner. It’s tangerine scented and safe for toys, strollers, high chairs… Anything in need of a nice, non-toxic cleaning.
Nature’s Gate Baby Shampoo & Wash – This bottle is HUGE. 18 ounces huge. A gentle, soothing cleanser/shampoo that’s totally free of any harsh chemicals/ingredients. It contains a special blend of baby-friendly herbs known to cleanse and sooth. 100% cruelty free & vegan too!
gao Natural Wood Fish Teether – I got one of these in August’s box, but I’m cool with having a second. The girls still play with (chew) it, so I’d say they like having it around and will totally welcome this guy with open arms (mouths) as well. 😉
Nature’s Baby Organics Shampoo & Body Wash (Travel size) – This is another item that I received in the August box. Again, I’m cool with it because you can never have too much shampoo/body wash when you’ve got twins. We’re actually using the older bottle now and it smells fantastic.
My True Nature Bubble Bath (Travel size) – I got this in the September box, and I echo the sentiments above. 😉
Oogaa Baby Silicone Train Spoon – Another item from the August box. It’s a cute, baby-friendly silicone spoon with a train on the handle. It’s dishwasher/microwave safe, which is always appreciated. I’m building quite a collection of these things.
Boogie Mist – Yep. This is from last month’s box. Though, with cold & flu season ahead, I’m more than happy to have lots of this stuff on hand.
Milky! by Mama Need – Since I don’t breastfeed, I really have no use for this. Into my trade pile you go, Milky!
Water Wipes (10 count) – These claim to be “the world’s purest baby wipes”, with 99.9% water and 0.1% fruit extract. Yep, that’s pure.
BumBoosa Baby Wipes – I’ve been getting lots of these eco-friendly wipes in boxes as of late. They’re made from renewable bamboo and are naturally scented with essential oils. They’re also 100% biodegradable. Yay, wipes!
Babysoy 2-Tone Socks (6-12m) – These are cute little sockies made with a blend of soy, cotton, and nylon. I received the same pair in my July box and I don’t think we ended up using them. The girls inherited my big feet, so I’m not sure they would have fit. They definitely won’t fit now. 🙁
NurturMeals Organic Dry Meal Pouches (3) – Organic, gluten-free powdered baby food. Mix with formula, breastmilk, or water and eat! Honestly, the girls hate these. We tried a few different flavors, and they’re just not down with ’em. I need to start throwing them in my smoothies cos I’ve got quite a stockpile over here.
Greene Street Soap – This is a small sample of “oatmeal” soap. It’s made with all natural ingredients and essential oils. Totally vegan too.
Nourish Baby Food Pouch – Reusable baby food pouch in a fun polka-dot design. I’ve gotten these in the past and didn’t have a use for them, so I’ll pass this along to someone else as well. I really don’t have the patience to be fillin’ pouches. Pssh.
2 Samples of Diaper Cream/Salve
Novena Organic Cucumber Cranberry Eye Gel – This vegan eye gel is made with 96% organic ingredients. Impressive! It helps to relieve tired, puffy eyes and minimizes fine lines & dark circles. Unscented and totally safe to use during pregnancy.
Ecocentric Mom, you did it again! Another awesome mystery box! I didn’t include any retail prices of the items, but it’s clearly well over the $25 price tag. 😀

Thanks!
I just wish the socks were bigger… 🙁
