October 2016 Ecocentric Mom review time!
If you’re unaware, Ecocentric Mom is a unique subscription box that features mom & baby products that are eco-friendly, natural, organic, and often vegan-friendly. There are 3 different box options to choose from: The “Mom & Baby” box (for moms & babies up to 18 months), “Mom-to-Be Box” (for the expecting mom), and just plain ol’ “Mom” box. They also offer an “Ecocentric Box” for women in general (moms and non-moms alike!).
Disclosure: I received this box for review purposes. I was not compensated in any way. All opinions are my own. Post may contain affiliate and/or referral links.
Subscriptions are $24.95/month, or less with multi-month commitments. You can choose to receive boxes monthly or every-other-month. Shipping is free. — For a limited time, you can save 25% on your first box with coupon code “GOGREEN25“!
Let’s see what’s in the October 2016 Ecocentric Mom “Mom” Box!
A peek inside.
The 2-sided info card listed all of the items in the box, along with a brief description of each one. Exclusive discounts were also included to use on future purchases.
Oilogic Stuffy Nose & Cough Essential Oil Roll-On ($9.99) – An essential oil roll-on that contains a blend of pure oils that helps ease the symptoms of a cough or cold without the use of harsh ingredients. Oils include eucalyptus, orange, fir needle, jojoba, and tea tree. To use, just apply to the back of the neck, chest and/or bottom of feet and breathe deeply.
Honeybee Gardens Effortless Eyeliner in “Smoking Gun” ($8.99) – This vegan-friendly eyeliner pencil is designed to glide on smoothly without having to pull or tug at the delicate skin around your eyes. It’s also gluten-free and made without the use of icky parabens.
Wrap-N-Mat Pouch ($17 for 2) – Okay, there were actually two of these included in my box but I thought it was a mistake so I only took a photo of one. It wasn’t until I read the info card a few minutes ago that I learned that there were indeed supposed to be two of them. Oops! Anywhooo… These snack pouches are designed to carry your food to your destination and unfold into a placemat when you’re ready to eat. They’re 100% food-safe, BPA-free, and reusable.
Zatik Dragon’s Blood Cleansing Gel ($20) – Formulated for normal to oily skin, this gentle cleanser contains dragon’s blood tree sap which helps loosen built up impurities and dirt. It also contains herbal extracts, essential oils, and protective antioxidants to help calm sensitive skin.
David’s Premium Natural Toothpaste ($7.95) – An all natural, fluoride- & sulfate-free toothpaste that helps whiten teeth and freshen breath without any questionable ingredients. It contains no artificial sweeteners, colors, or preservatives and is flavored with USA farmed mint oil. It even comes with a recyclable metal tube key roller that attaches to the end of the tube to help squeeze out every last bit of paste.
EcoTrek Fitness Whole Food Bar ($2.29) – This 100% natural whole food bar is vegan, gluten-free, and packed with six servings of fruits & veggies. It also contains an impressive 10 grams of protein!
Healthy Hoohoo Feminine Cleanser (samples) – A paraben-free, fragrance-free, glycerin-free, and pH balanced feminine cleanser that gently removes odor causing bacteria.
More great natural, eco-friendly products from Ecocentric Mom! My favorite items this month were the essential oil roll-on, natural toothpaste, and vegan food bar. The total retail value of everything this time around was over $65! — Remember, for a limited time, you can save 25% on your first box with coupon code “GOGREEN25“!
