ElementaryBox (one word, not a typo!) is a subscription box that includes teaching resources, student rewards, and teacher gifts delivered monthly.
Each box is customized to the recipient’s grade level and features 4 to 6 items that include teaching tools to use in the classroom, a reward/motivator for the students, a handcrafted gift, as well as teaching ideas & tips. It makes a great gift, whether it’s for your child’s teacher, or you happen to be an educator yourself.
Subscriptions are $29/month with free shipping, or less with multi-month commitments. (For a limited time, you can save 10% on each month of your subscription when you use coupon code “BTS2015” at checkout!)
Let’s see what’s in the September 2015 ElementaryBox!
Everything was shipped in a large white box via priority mail.
A peek inside!
I received the Kindergarten box and everything I’d find inside was listed on the info card, along with some read-aloud book recommendations for the new school year.
Geddes Classic Colors Jumbo Markers, 2 Packs ($3.25) – Markers are always good to have for the classroom. Perfect for back-to-school activities and art projects.
Geddes Retro Pencils, 4 Packs ($7) – Four packs of pencils (28 in all) were included to use as classroom rewards, or just to add to your supply stash. They feature fun retro designs including flowers, peace signs, and happy frogs.
Interactive Notebooks: Language Arts K Resource Book ($9.99) – This resource book features a teacher’s guide and lesson plans that focus on language skills. Topics include short vowel sounds, sight words, nouns, antonyms, punctuation, and more.
Applying the Standards: STEM K ($9.99) – This book focuses on STEM-based projects and activities involving color chemistry, sound, balance, friction, habitats, and more.
Steep & Go Cold Infusion Tea Set ($11.50) – September’s teacher gift is a cold brew tea set that includes a Steep & Go filter that fits on any standard water bottle and four packets of tea to get you started. Perfect to use in the classroom as you deal with the lingering summer weather.
September’s ElementaryBox was perfect for the start of the new school year. It featured useful, practical items that I’m sure any teacher would appreciate.
