I recently reviewed the June EsianMall K-beauty box, so now it’s time to check out the EsianMall Snack Box!
Each EsianMall Snack Box will feature an assortment of snacks from Korea, Japan, Thailand, and other countries throughout Asia. Items can include chips, ramen, gummy candy, cookies/biscuits, beverages, rice crackers, caramels, chocolates, and more. All products will include English ingredients on the label, so you’ll always know exactly what’s inside each treat.
Subscriptions are $15/month for the Mini box (5-6 items), $25/month for the Medium box, and $35/month for the Premium box (12-15 items). Shipping within the US is FREE.
Let’s see what’s in the June 2016 EsianMall Snack Box!
All of the items were shipped in a yellow box with a butterfly logo. Not quite sure why, their beauty box was designed the same way.
A peek inside!
An info card listed all of the items in June’s box, along with brief descriptions for each one. It also indicated which items were included in each of the different sized boxes (Mini, Medium, & Premium). — I received the June Premium box for review.
Jagabee Potato Crisps – Crunchy potato strips flavored with Kikkoman soy sauce. They’re made with real whole cut potatoes and have 40% less sodium than regular potato sticks.
Bourbon Petit Cookies – A tube-shaped package of mini chocolate chocolate chip cookies! These look really good and I’m sure my kids will love ’em.
Pokemon Rice Seasoning – I’ve never seen a product like this before… This packet contains little Pokemon-themed seasoning chips(?) that you add to your rice to give it extra flavor. Neat!
Panda Chocolate Cookies – Cute panda head shaped cookies covered in both white and milk chocolate. This box celebrates their 20th anniversary by including 20% more cookies!
Maeil Cafe Latte Caramel Macchiato – A ready-t0-drink caramel macchiato beverage made with real milk and espresso. It even comes with its own bendy straw. 🙂
Doraemon Choco Snack – Doraemon is pictured on this tub of crunchy cookie balls that are covered in real milk chocolate.
Hi-Chew Banana Candy – Hi-Chew seems to appear quite often in Japanese snack boxes. They’re chewy candies that come in lots of fruity flavors. Sort of like a Japanese Starburst, I’m guessing? (I can’t try them since they contain gelatin.)
Glico Watering KissMint Gum – A pack of zero calorie gum that’s flavored with real muscat (grape) juice powder.
Shin Instant Ramen – A spicy ramen soup featuring a beef and mushroom broth. I was a bit surprised to see that this was actually made in the USA. (I’m guessing we export it to Asia?)
Potato Flavored Snack – Crunchy potato puffs/sticks made with real potatoes and spices. I was hoping maybe these would be vegan-friendly, but nope. (Whey. 🙁 )
Baked Rice Crackers – Two separate packets of rice crackers were included, with a total of 4 crackers in all. There were no labels on them, so I’m not exactly sure what they’re made of (well, besides rice).
Koala’s March Matcha Green Tea – We’ve gotten the chocolate version of these many times, but never this green tea variety. These crunchy panda biscuits are filled with a smooth, sweet matcha flavored cream. My kids love the chocolate ones, so I think they’ll enjoy these ones too.
Crispy Olive Oil Seaweed – An all natural seaweed snack made with just seaweed, olive oil, and salt.
Peko Crunch – Creamy, crunchy Japanese candies made with real milk.
Fujiya Look 24C – Individually wrapped pieces of rich dark chocolate.
The July EsianMall Snack Box was chock full o’ fun Asian snacks, sweets, drinks, and more. There really was something for everyone — salty snacks, chocolates, cookies, rice crackers, muscat gum, and even ramen! A great box with a lot of variety. 🙂
