My Fall 2023 FabFitFun box has arrived! — See what customization choices I made in my review below.
FabFitFun is a lifestyle subscription box that sends you a fun assortment of beauty, fitness, and style products on a quarterly basis. New boxes are released every season and will contain a collection of full-sized products handpicked by the FabFitFun team. Items can include a mix of beauty, fashion, fitness, wellness, home products, and more. Annual subscribers are given the option to fully customize their boxes with a variety of product choices every season. Each box is guaranteed to have a value of at least $200 in products!

FabFitFun usually has nicely illustrated and/or themed outer boxes, but the last two offerings have been a little… minimal?
A peek inside!
Instead of their traditional print magazine with details on all of the items, they now provide a QR code with access to a digital-only version. — However, my box was missing this code.
Little Korboose Woven Throw Blanket in Rust ($60 value)
The first customization allowed subscribers to choose from the throw blanket above (in Rust or Taupe), Alice + Olivia Duffle Bag in Regal Romance or Positano Stripe ($90 value), Murad Hydro-Dynamic Ultimate Moisture ($83 value), Our Place Tinted Wine Glasses in Two Tone or Solid – Set of 2 ($50 value), or Living Proof Triple Bond Complex ($45 value). Do I currently have at least 837 blankets in my home? I do. Did I choose to receive another one in my fall box? I sure did! 😉 I just couldn’t resist its pretty ~autumnal~ rust color, classic plaid pattern, and whimsical tassels. To be honest, it’s not exactly the softest blanket ever — but it’s perfect for laying across the back of our couch in the den to add a pop of color to our otherwise neutral palette.
Citrine Canyon Spice Jars – Set of 2 ($30 value)
The second customization option allowed subscribers to choose from the jar set above, Fenty Beauty Eaze Drop’Lit All-Over Glow Enhancer ($34 value), Timberland Buffalo Plaid Scarf ($60 value), Alex and Ani Emerald Flex Cuff Bracelet ($45 value), Reebok Smart Jump Rope ($40 value), or GLOW Recipe Plum Plump Hyaluronic Acid Serum ($45 value). Though I’m not entirely sure what I’ll be using them for, I went with the cute spice jars. I love that they’re dishwasher & microwave safe and can be used to hold foods like spices, sugar, nuts, as well as personal care items such as hair ties, paper clips, spare change, or anything else you want to keep tucked away.
Free People 1809 LODGE Candle ($40 value)
The third customization options included the candle above, Youthforia BYO Blush ($36 value), Vegamour GRO Dry Shampoo ($36 value), LUV AJ Carmella Hoop Earrings in Silver ($65 value), Living Proof Smoothing Boar Bristle Hair Brush ($45 value), Fekkai Super Strength + Protein PowerBond Mist ($30 value), or Silked Satin Travel Pillow Sleeve in Four Leaf Clover ($29.50 value). I can never say no to a scented candle! — This holds true even more when it smells like all things autumn. 😀 Okay, so it doesn’t have any pumpkin notes, but the combination of palo santo, clove, patchouli & vanilla invokes plenty of feel-good fall vibes! LOVE it.
Pudus Over The Knee Socks ($25 value)
The fourth customization was a choice between the knee socks above, Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm in Vanilla Beige ($23 value), KVD Beauty Tattoo Liner Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner in Trooper Black ($25 value), Blume Buds 48 Pack ($30 value), First Aid Beauty Face Cleanser ($24 value), or Balance Me Wonder Eye Cream ($30 value). While the throw blanket was a little disappointing as far as softness goes, these cozy over-the-knee socks couldn’t be any softer! I almost went with the eye cream, but am SO glad I opted for these instead. I only wish it were cold enough to start wearing them *now*!
The fifth customization was for annual members only (FabFitFun chooses for seasonal members) and was a choice between the hand & body wash above, Darling Spring Salt & Pepper Shakers ($25 value), Frank Body Cacao Coffee Scrub ($20 value), or Lujo Bar Eucalyptus Shower Steamers – 4 Pack ($22 value). I’ve been making my own hand soap with castile soap & essential oils for a few years now. However — I always like to have a couple of store-bought soaps stashed away for travel. (Yes, I bring my own hand soap to hotels. ) This one was designed to help reduce daily stress and worry with its calming combination of sandalwood & sage.
Ettika Mini Ring Box ($30 value)
The final choice (for annual members) was a choice between the ring box above, Verb Products Ghost Prep Heat Protectant ($20 value), The Lyfestyle Co. MOOD Perfume ($40 value), Cover FX Custom Enhancer Palette ($42 value), Obé Waistpack ($40 value), or Nécessaire The Body Lotion ($28 value). The Ettika Mini Ring Box popped up as a last minute option (during customization) and I selected it for a bit of an odd use. Sure, it would be ideal for storing/displaying actual rings and other jewelry, but I’m going to use mine for… a snail memorial. — Yep, I’m going to put a dead snail in it. Well, its shell anyway. Our 2-year-old snail had a baby last year who didn’t live very long, so I’ve had its (empty) shell perched on a little shelf in our den. I’ve always wanted a nice container to put him in, so I’m going to add some faux moss and other things to turn this box into a cute(?) little resting place. Unconventional, but it works. 😉
My Fall 2023 FabFitFun box was a bit of a rarity for me, as I’m going to personally use (not gift) every single item. There wasn’t one category that I had trouble selecting something from, which typically never happens. 🙂 My personal favorites this season were the Little Korboose Throw Blanket, Free People Lodge Candle, Pudus Over the Knee Socks, and Ettika Mini Ring Box. The total retail value of my (values differ based on your selections) Summer 2023 FabFitFun box was just over $220! — Remember — if you’d like to sign up for FabFitFun, you can save $10 on your first box just by using this link — making your box just $44.99!
