Vegan Presence is one! Yep, February marks their big one-year anniversary — Happy anniversary, VP! Thanks for doin’ what you do! 😀
If you haven’t heard, Vegan Presence is a monthly subscription box service that features — you guessed it — exclusively vegan-friendly products. Items can range from food to beauty to household essentials. This is by-far one of my favorite subscription boxes! They’re always packaged oh-so-prettily too! (I have a growing pile of colorful organza bags to prove it!)
Let’s see what they sent for their celebratory anniversary month!
Go Max Go Mahalo Bar – You KNOW I was happy to see chocolate. Vegan Presence almost always includes some sort of sweet treat, which is MUCH appreciated. This time we got what could be considered a vegan version of a Almond Joy bar. I’ve had Go Max Go bars in the past, but always went for the Twilight or Jokerz bars (think vegan Milky Way & vegan Snickers). Though this flavor was good, I’m still a bigger fan of the other two. Oh, and the Buccaneer bar (vegan 3 Musketeers!).
BWC Beauty Without Cruelty Mineral Loose Eyeshadow in “Mystery” – Being a makeup newbie, I’m always shocked at the price of “good” products. This little pot of mineral eyeshadow retails for $24.95. Crazy. (Am I just cheap? Is that a “normal” price for something like this?) Anywhooo… This is cruelty-free, vegan, and free from parabens, talc, wax, fragrance, and oil. It’s also black, which is totally my eyeshadow color of choice. Oh my goth.
WEBA Natural Products All-Purpose Body Balm in Lavender/Tea Tree – This smells sooo good! I’m really starting to love the scent of lavender. This is a homemade balm that can be used just about anywhere — lips, cuticles, elbows, on bug bites, rashes — even in your hair. Talk about multi-purpose. It’s totally plant-based and leaves no icky greasy residue.
Purescriptive Soy Lotion Candle in Mandarin, Thyme & Ylang Ylang – This is a candle and body lotion in one. You simply light the candle, wait for the wax to pool, then massage it into your skin. Since soy wax has a lower burning temperature, it won’t burn you when you pour it on. (Always a plus.) The candle is free of parabens and dyes, has a natural cotton wick, and the tin is totally recyclable.
Dr. Bronner’s Magic Soap 18-in-1 Hemp Lavender Castile Soap – I used to use Dr. Bronner’s bar soaps all the time. I still do on occasion. I love that all of his products are organic, fair trade, and vegan-friendly. This little bottle of soap has 18 different uses! From face wash, to dishwashing liquid, to laundry soap — if something needs cleaning, this stuff can probably do it!
Beach Organics Soap in “First Light” – More soap! And it’s lavender-scented too! Beach Organics soaps are all handcrafted and contain no artificial ingredients or parabens. They use all natural oils and botanical extracts to clean and soothe your skin. I really wish this was a full-sized bar!
Homespun Northwest Natural Lavender(!) Eye Makeup Remover – Yep, another lavender-scented product! I feel bad for anyone who got this month’s package and hates lavender. Thankfully, that’s not me. 😉 This is made with 100% natural ingredients, including aloe vera juice, mild castile soap, and lavender essential oil.
Be Natural Organics Eye Serum (tiny bottle on left) and Golden Glow Lotion – The little bottle of eye serum is Bio-Recovery Evening Repair. It’s an anti-aging serum that helps lessen fine lines and wrinkles using a high concentration of alpha lipoic acid. The Golden Glow Lotion is a shimmery lotion made with 20% shea butter. Natural minerals provide the “shimmer”.
I think this was the most products I’ve ever received in a Vegan Presence package! So much stuff! It was a nice variety too, assuming you don’t hate lavender. 😉
Subscriptions are $60 for 3 months, $115 for 6 months, or $23 for a trial box. If you decide to sign up, make sure you tell them you were referred by 2littlerosebuds.com! 🙂
