February Fit Snack unboxing time!
If you’re new to them, Fit Snack is a snack subscription box that’s curated to include items that are both well balanced and nutrient dense. When selecting products to include in the box, they use the Fit Snack “Perfect 10″. Put simply, they look for snacks that fall into one or more of these categories: Nutrient Dense (high in protein, complex carbs, low sugar index), Consciously Made (GMO free, organic production, sustainably farmed), and Diversified Energy (gluten free, clean eating, paleo, raw).
Each box will contain 6 to 9 healthy (yet satisfying) items that have total retail value of at least $30. While most of the items fall into the “snack” category, they also send cooking mixes, oils, and the like.
Subscriptions are $24/month (shipping included), or less with longer, multi-month commitments. It also looks like they ship worldwide. If you join Fit Snack using my link, you’ll save $3 on your first box!
Let’s see what’s in the February 2016 Fit Snack box!

A peek inside.
An info card listed all of the snacks, as well as accompanying photos, short descriptions, and a few discount codes.
I Heart Keenwah Quinoa Puffs – I’ve gotten these puffed quinoa snacks in another subscription box, but never did end up trying them. I’m definitely going to make it a point with this bag though! The vegan-friendly puffs are made with real quinoa and fresh garden herbs.
Heavenly Organics Mint Chocolate Honey Patties – Mmm! I’ve had a different brand of chocolate honey mints before and they were sooo good! I’m sure these will be just as awesome. They’re made with only 3 ingredients: organic dark chocolate, raw white honey, and peppermint oil.
Manitoba Harvest Chocolate Hemp Heart Bar – I’m very familiar with Manitoba harvest hemp hearts, but I had no idea there was a snack bar made with ’em! This healthy whole foods bar is made with all natural ingredients and is vegan-friendly. It contains an impressive 10 grams of plant-based protein per bar!
Lesser Evil Super 4 Nacho Cheese Baked Bean Bites – A crunchy baked snack made with good-for-you ingredients like white beans, quinoa, lentils, and chia.
Lawless Jerky Japanese Curry Beef Jerky – An all-natural handcrafted jerky made with 100% grass-fed beef. It’s preservative free and made with natural ingredients including rice vinegar, tamari, turmeric, red pepper, cumin, garlic, and more.
Laughing Giraffe Organics Lemon Snakaroon – Mmm… A 100% organic lemon-flavored coconut treat that’s both gluten-free and vegan-friendly. More please! 😉
Peaceful Fruits Wild Acai & Apple Fruit Snack – A slow-dried 100% fruit snack made with organic acai, apples, pears, and lemon juice.
Munk Pack Oatmeal Fruit Squeeze – Two flavors of these oatmeal fruit snacks were included — Apple Quinoa Cinnamon and Raspberry Coconut. They’re both packed with healthy ingredients like whole grains (including gluten-free oats), real fruit, and ground flaxseed.
VitaFive Gummy Vitamin Pack – This pack of vitamins was listed as a bonus item. It looks like they’re a monthly subscription that sends you personalized vitamin packs based on your individual needs.
February’s Fit Snack had a good mix of snacks this time around. It felt like a fuller box than usual, which was nice to see. My favorite items were the Snakaroon, hemp bar, fruit snack, and quinoa puffs.
