Fit Snack is a snack subscription box that’s curated to include items that are both well balanced and nutrient dense.
Each box will contain 6 to 9 healthy items ranging from snack foods to cooking mixes, supplements, beverages, and more. When selecting products to include in the box, they use the Fit Snack “Perfect 10″. Put simply, they look for snacks that fall into one or more of these categories: Nutrient Dense (high in protein, complex carbs, low sugar index), Consciously Made (GMO free, organic production, sustainably farmed), and Diversified Energy (gluten free, clean eating, paleo, raw).
Disclosure: I received this box for review purposes. I was not compensated in any way. All opinions are my own. Post may contain affiliate and/or referral links.
Subscriptions are $24/month (shipping included), or less with longer, multi-month commitments. It also looks like they ship worldwide. — For a limited time, you can save 30% on your first box! No coupon needed, just click this link.
Let’s see what’s in the January 2020 Fit Snack box!

A peek inside!
An info card listed all of the snacks, as well as accompanying photos and brief descriptions of each item.
Sinister Labs SinFit Birthday Cake Protein Cookie
This birthday cake flavored cookie is loaded with not only sprinkles & frosting — but also 20 grams of protein. It’s gluten free, trans-fat free, and has only 7 grams of sugar per cookie.
Enlightened Sweet Cinnamon Bada Bean Bada Boom
These roasted broad (fava) beans are a great alternative to nuts, chips, or even croutons (well, maybe not this particular flavor). Each serving contains just 100 calories, 7 grams of protein, 6 grams of fiber, and only 1 gram of sugar. I wasn’t crazy about the stevia aftertaste, but other than that they weren’t too bad.
Nairn’s Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Oat Grahams
I was SO excited to see this full-sized package of oat grahams in January’s box! I fell in love with them when we received a few samples back in November, and was just trying to track some down during our latest grocery trip (no luck). Unlike conventional graham crackers, Nairn’s are baked with pure gluten-free oats and contain 25% less sugar than the average comparable “sweet biscuit” (they’re made in Scotland). I can’t pinpoint exactly why it is, but they are DELICIOUS.
Hippeas Nacho Vibes Organic Chickpea Puffs
Yay, I love Hippeas! — These morsels of puffed goodness are 100% vegan and made with all natural/organic ingredients including chickpea flour, rice flour, sunflower oil, seasonings, and pea hull fiber. I think I’ve tried every one of their flavors at this point, and they’ve all been awesome.
PlantFusion Rich Chocolate Complete Protein
I’m always happy to receive more vegan-friendly protein powder! This one from PlantFusion is made with an amino acid infused protein blend that’s comparable to animal proteins like whey. It’s flavored with natural chocolate and is fortified with digestive enzymes. It’s also dairy free, soy free, gluten free, and free of many other major allergens.
Tiny Toad Creations Sweet Cheat Hot Chocolate
Enjoy a steaming cup of hot chocolate without all of the unwanted added sugar. — This 100% sugar free cocoa mix is made with all natural inulin fiber, cocoa powder, salt, monk fruit, and natural flavors. To prepare, simply whisk 2 tablespoons of the mix with 1 cup of warm milk and drink up. Each serving has just 30 calories, zero sugar, and an impressive 11 grams of fiber!
Why Bars Cherry Chia Superfood Snack Bar
This superfood snack bar is made with wholesome ingredients including gluten free oats, almond butter, dried cherries, organic coconut oil, and organic chia seed. It’s non-GMO and free of dairy, gluten, and soy. The calories are a bit high for such a small bar — 303! — but it’ll be nice for a sweet treat.
Weeks Honey Farm Wildflower Honey Straws
These all natural honey straws are great for a convenient on-the-go energy boost. Each straw (12 in all) contains 100% unfiltered, pure raw wildflower honey. I think I’ll keep these around for adding to hot tea when one of us inevitably gets a cold this season.
Mountain Standard Camp Master Seasoning
The info card identified this seasoning blend as a “Fit Snack Gift”, which I’m assuming is equivalent to a bonus item. The flavorful blend contains all natural ingredients including ancient pink Himalayan sea salt, black pepper, garlic, red bell pepper, orange peel, onion, and more.
