Fit Snack is a snack subscription box that’s curated to include items that are both well balanced and nutrient dense.
Each box will contain 6 to 9 healthy items ranging from snack foods to cooking mixes, supplements, beverages, and more. When selecting products to include in the box, they use the Fit Snack “Perfect 10″. Put simply, they look for snacks that fall into one or more of these categories: Nutrient Dense (high in protein, complex carbs, low sugar index), Consciously Made (GMO free, organic production, sustainably farmed), and Diversified Energy (gluten free, clean eating, paleo, raw).
Disclosure: I received this box for review purposes. Post may contain affiliate and/or referral links.
Subscriptions are $24/month (shipping included), or less with longer, multi-month commitments. It also looks like they ship worldwide. — For a limited time, you can save 30% on your first box! No coupon needed.
Let’s see what’s in the July 2021 Fit Snack box!
The familiar white & turquoise box was shipped via Priority Mail.
A peek inside!
An info card listed all of the snacks, as well as accompanying photos, discounts, and brief descriptions of each item.
Pop Zero White Cheddar Popcorn
When I first saw “white cheddar” on the label, I assumed this popcorn was destined for another (non-vegan) family member… BUT! I then saw the second line that proclaimed “dairy-free cheesy goodness”. Heck yes! Instead of actual (fat-filled) cheese, Pop Zero uses a combination of algae oil, pea protein, sea salt, and yeast extract to make a faux cheese flavor. Woohoo!
Bakery on Main Monster Cookie Granola
“Monster Cookie” granola features a decadent blend of gluten-free oats, dark chocolate chips, almonds, rainbow sprinkles, and more. It’s gluten free, non-GMO, vegan-friendly, and has 16 grams of whole grains per serving. Both of my kids love this stuff!
Bakery on Main Maple Multigrain Muffin Instant Oatmeal
A gluten-free instant oatmeal made with heart-healthy ancient grains & seeds including flax, chia, quinoa, and amaranth. It’s all natural, non-GMO, certified gluten-free, and vegan-friendly. Each serving contains 5 grams of fiber and 7 grams of protein.
Brainiac Kids Cinnamon Applesauce
These applesauce pouches are made with non-GMO apples and contain an added dose of omega-3, DHA, EPA, and choline for kiddo’s developing brains. My kids love applesauce, so they were bummed when I told them that these contain fish oil. Ah well. We’ll find someone else to enjoy them.
Bakery on Main Double Chocolate Granola Bars
These chewy granola bars are made with all natural ingredients including organic whole grain oats, brown rice, semi-sweet chocolate chips, cocoa butter, vanilla extract, and sprouted quinoa. They’re gluten free and a good source of fiber (4 grams per serving).
PlantFusion Collagen Beauty Supplements
As soon as I saw the word “collagen” I immediately assumed it was derived from animals, so I was surprised to see a vegan symbol on both of these packets. Turns out, their collagen builder is 100% whole food plant-based and never contains animal cartilage, bones or hides. Cool!
July’s Fit Snack box featured a nice collection of mostly old favorites and a couple new discoveries. My personal favorites this time were the Pop Zero White Cheddar Popcorn, Bakery on Main Monster Cookie Granola, and Bakery on Main Double Chocolate Granola Bars. — Remember, for a limited time you can save 30% on your first box!
