Fit Snack is a snack subscription box that’s curated to include items that are both well balanced and nutrient dense.
Each box will contain 6 to 9 healthy items ranging from snack foods to cooking mixes, supplements, beverages, and more. When selecting products to include in the box, they use the Fit Snack “Perfect 10″. Put simply, they look for snacks that fall into one or more of these categories: Nutrient Dense (high in protein, complex carbs, low sugar index), Consciously Made (GMO free, organic production, sustainably farmed), and Diversified Energy (gluten free, clean eating, paleo, raw).
Disclosure: I received this box for review purposes. I was not compensated in any way. All opinions are my own. Post may contain affiliate and/or referral links.
Subscriptions are $24/month (shipping included), or less with longer, multi-month commitments. It also looks like they ship worldwide. — For a limited time, you can save 30% on your first box! No coupon needed, just click this link.
Let’s see what’s in the June 2020 Fit Snack box!
The familiar white & turquoise box was shipped via Priority Mail.
A peek inside!
An info card listed all of the snacks, as well as accompanying photos, discounts, and brief descriptions of each item.
Additional product info and a physical coupon were also included.
RW Garcia 3 Seed Sweet Potato Crackers
These crispy crackers are a repeat item from April’s box, but I’m a big fan so no biggie. They’re made with simple ingredients like stone ground yellow corn, sweet potatoes, chia seeds, flaxseed, sesame seeds, and sea salt. They’re also gluten-free and non-GMO.
Weeks Honey Farm Clover Honey Straws
These all natural honey straws are great for a convenient on-the-go energy boost. Each straw (12 in all) contains 100% unfiltered, pure raw clover honey. You can also drizzle them over fruit or stir into yogurt, coffee, or tea.
Kibo Pico de Gallo Chickpea Chips
Touting 7 grams of plant-based protein per serving, these flavorful chips are made with all natural ingredients including chickpea flour, yellow split peas, and spices. They contain no preservatives and have just 110 calories & 1 gram of sugar per serving.
Jali Fruit Co. Mr. Jackfruit
I’ve heard a lot about the versatility of jackfruit, but have yet to try it in any of its forms. Many vegans enjoy it prepared warm with seasonings, as an alternative to pulled pork. The package above contains wild, sun-dried jackfruit with no added sugar, preservatives, or additives of any kind. I’m looking forward to (finally) giving it a try!
Moon Cheese Oh My Gouda Cheese Snack
Crunchy, all natural puffed snacks made with 100% cheese. Each serving has 11 grams of protein, 1 gram of carbs, and 0 grams of sugar.
PlantFusion Chocolate Caramel Complete Meal
These meal replacement shakes were included in the last couple boxes, but the info card does list them as a bonus item, so it’s fine. Each vegan-friendly, gluten-free packet contain over 20 different organic superfoods, 4.4 grams of omega fats, and 6 grams of fiber to keep you satisfied.
Flu-B-Gone
This all natural, immune-boosting antibiotic alternative is formulated to help fight seasonal sickness symptoms at the source. It contains a blend of plant-based ingredients which includes pure elderberry, apple cider vinegar, habanero peppers, white onion, ginger root, cinnamon, and garlic. I’m assuming the flavor isn’t all that great, but if it works it’s worth a try!
Thousand Oaks Acorn Bar
I think this is the first food item I’ve ever gotten that touted acorns as its featured ingredient. Along with said acorns (well, acorn starch), it also includes brown cane sugar, oats, real butter, eggs, coconut flakes, dried apricots, organic ginger chips, and vanilla.
Ultima Replenisher Electrolyte Supplement
These fruit-flavored drink packets contain a perfect balance of all 6 electrolytes, along with support minerals that work together to provide complete hydration so you can feel and perform your best. They’re both keto & paleo friendly, vegan, gluten free, and non-GMO. (These were also listed as a bonus item, as they’ve been in the last 2 boxes as well.)
June’s Fit Snack box included a decent amount of repeat items, but thankfully there were a few new discoveries as well. My personal favorites this month were the RW Garcia Crackers, Kibo Chips, and Jali Fruit Co. Jackfruit. — Remember, for a limited time you can save 30% on your first box!
