May 2018 Fit Snack review time!
If you’re new to them, Fit Snack is a snack subscription box that’s curated to include items that are both well balanced and nutrient dense. When selecting products to include in the box, they use the Fit Snack “Perfect 10″. Put simply, they look for snacks that fall into one or more of these categories: Nutrient Dense (high in protein, complex carbs, low sugar index), Consciously Made (GMO free, organic production, sustainably farmed), and Diversified Energy (gluten free, clean eating, paleo, raw).
Disclosure: I received this box for review purposes. I was not compensated in any way. All opinions are my own. Post may contain affiliate and/or referral links.
Each box will contain 6 to 9 healthy (yet satisfying) items that have total retail value of at least $30. While most of the items fall into the “snack” category, they also send cooking mixes, supplements, beverages, and more.
Subscriptions are $24/month (shipping included), or less with longer, multi-month commitments. It also looks like they ship worldwide. — For a limited time, you can save $3 on your first box! No coupon needed, just click this link.
Let’s see what’s in the May 2018 Fit Snack box!

A peek inside.
An info card listed all of the snacks, as well as accompanying photos, short descriptions, and discount codes for each item.
Soloman Baking Co. Kale Millet and Flax Chips
This big (6 ounce!) bag of double hearth baked millet and flax chips was surprisingly delicious. In fact, I ate all 6 of the bag’s servings in just two days. SO good! They’re made with wholesome ingredients including millet flour, chia seeds, flaxseed flour, oat fiber, and kale. Each serving has 2 grams of protein, 1 gram of fiber, and only 70 calories.
Zone Perfect Chocolate Peanut Butter Nutrition Bars
These sample-sized nutrition bars are the perfect snack for a mid-afternoon pick me up. Each bar consists of creamy peanut butter with a rich chocolatey coating and crunchy soy nuggets. They’re high in vitamins & minerals, have 5 grams of protein per bar, and are free of artificial sweeteners & flavors.
SunButter Natural Sunflower Butter
A creamy spread made with roasted sunflower seeds, this is a great alternative for those with nut allergies. It’s free of the top 8 allergens and is gluten free, soy-free, vegan, and non-GMO. I was impressed to see a FULL size jar in this month’s box!
Chomps Original Beef and Original Turkey Sticks
Two meat products from Chomps were included in May’s box. Their original beef stick features 100% grass-fed beef with 9 grams of protein & 100 calories per serving. Their new turkey stick is made with 100% free range turkey with 10 grams of protein and just 70 calories per stick. Both products are free of GMOs, gluten, and added sugar.
Herbaland Protein Gummies
These fruit-flavored gummy supplements are organic, non-GMO, and vegan friendly. They’re designed to help muscle recovery and contain 28 grams of fiber, 10 grams of protein, and just 1 gram of sugar per serving.
Freezinda Protein Powder Dessert Mix
Freezinda is a unique kit that allows you to turn your favorite whey-based protein powder into a frozen dessert. Simply mix the Freezinda packets with water and whey protein, freeze for at least 14 hours, and enjoy.
Another nice offering from Fit Snack! My favorite items this month were the Soloman Baking Co. kale chips, full size SunButter, and vegan gummies. 🙂 — Remember, for a limited time you can save $3 on your first box! No coupon needed, just click this link.
