November 2016 Fit Snack unboxing time!
If you’re new to them, Fit Snack is a snack subscription box that’s curated to include items that are both well balanced and nutrient dense. When selecting products to include in the box, they use the Fit Snack “Perfect 10″. Put simply, they look for snacks that fall into one or more of these categories: Nutrient Dense (high in protein, complex carbs, low sugar index), Consciously Made (GMO free, organic production, sustainably farmed), and Diversified Energy (gluten free, clean eating, paleo, raw).
Disclosure: I received this box for review purposes. I was not compensated in any way. All opinions are my own. Post may contain affiliate and/or referral links.
Each box will contain 6 to 9 healthy (yet satisfying) items that have total retail value of at least $30. While most of the items fall into the “snack” category, they also send cooking mixes, oils, and the like.
Subscriptions are $24/month (shipping included), or less with longer, multi-month commitments. It also looks like they ship worldwide. If you join Fit Snack using my link, you’ll save $3 on your first box!
Let’s see what’s in the November 2016 Fit Snack box!
The teal & white Fit Snack box!
A peek inside.
An info card listed all of the snacks, as well as accompanying photos, short descriptions, and a few discount codes.
Purely Inspired Powdered Peanut Butter – This powdered peanut butter actually has 90% less fat than traditional peanut butter! Just add water & mix to use as a spread, or toss it into smoothies, baked goods, and more. It’s vegan-friendly and consists of just roasted peanuts, cane sugar, and salt. I was happy to see a full sized 10-ounce jar included!
ChocoRite Salted Caramel Protein Bar – A sugar free protein bar that’s high in fiber and designed to keep your blood sugar low and your cravings satisfied. It’s also gluten-free and low calorie.
Dang Salted Cacao Toasted Coconut Chips – These toasted coconut chips tend to pop up in this box quite frequently. Good thing I like ’em! 😉
Raw Rev Chocolate Coconut Bliss Bar – Another Fit Snack staple, Raw Rev bars are made with organic superfoods & are all vegan and gluten-free. Each bar has just 100 calories and makes a nice mid-day snack.
Big Tree Farms Blonde Coconut Palm Sugar – A low glycemic index sweetener that’s high in nutrients, ecologically beneficial, and provides sustained energy with a similar taste to soft brown sugar.
Tickle Water Fizz for Kidz in Watermelon – This naturally flavored sparkling water was created just for kids. It’s lightly carbonated & is free of sugar, sodium, artificial sweeteners, and preservatives. Cool!
Kracklin’ Kamut – These little packets contain organic Kamut grains which have been roasted and lightly salted. They can be sprinkled on salads, veggies, fruit, or just eat ’em straight from the bag. I’ve had them before and they make for a nice little snack when you’re craving something salty.
People’s Choice Old Fashioned Beef Jerky – Old fashioned beef jerky that’s been produced in Los Angeles since 1929. Each serving contains 16 grams of protein and zero sugar or carbs.
Smarty Pants Gummy Vitamins – All-in-one gummy vitamins formulated for both men and women. They’re non-GMO, gluten-free, and contain no artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives.
Coupon – There was also a manufacturer’s coupon for a FREE bag of Pasta Chips!
November’s Fit Snack had quite a few repeats from past months, but I was happy to see the full size powdered peanut butter. — Definitely my favorite item of the box. The Tickle Water was also a new discovery for me. — If you’d like to try it out for yourself, they’ve kindly given me a special discount to share with my readers.
