Fit Snack is a snack subscription box that’s curated to include items that are both well balanced and nutrient dense.
Each box will contain 6 to 9 healthy items ranging from snack foods to cooking mixes, supplements, beverages, and more. When selecting products to include in the box, they use the Fit Snack “Perfect 10″. Put simply, they look for snacks that fall into one or more of these categories: Nutrient Dense (high in protein, complex carbs, low sugar index), Consciously Made (GMO free, organic production, sustainably farmed), and Diversified Energy (gluten free, clean eating, paleo, raw).
Disclosure: I received this box for review purposes. I was not compensated in any way. All opinions are my own. Post may contain affiliate and/or referral links.
Subscriptions are $24/month (shipping included), or less with longer, multi-month commitments. It also looks like they ship worldwide. — For a limited time, you can save 30% on your first box! No coupon needed, just click this link.
Let’s see what’s in the November 2019 Fit Snack box!
The familiar white & turquoise box was shipped via Priority Mail.
A peek inside!
An info card listed all of the snacks, as well as accompanying photos and brief descriptions of each item.
Lebby Chickpea Snacks (x2)
I got to try the dark chocolate (vegan!) version of these dry roasted chickpea snacks a few months ago and they were strangely addictive. I’m not crazy about plain (or seasoned) roasted chickpeas, but chocolate coated? — Total game-changer. That said, I was a bit sad to see non-vegan varieties included in the box. Ah well, here’s hoping they send the dark chocolate ones at some point. Fingers crossed!
Nairn’s Gluten Free Oat Grahams
Don’t let the plainness of these graham crackers fool you… These things were absolutely delicious! In fact, all three packages have already been eaten (and I want more!). Ingredients include gluten free whole grain oats, sustainably sourced palm oil, brown sugar, and sea salt. They’re non-GMO, vegan friendly, and contain no artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives.
Angry Mills Chocolate Chaos Almond Spread
This (full size!) chocolate almond spread is made with rich dark chocolate & specially milled almonds, along with whey protein isolate to give it an added boost of protein. It’s non-GMO, low-sodium, and gluten-free. Enjoy it on pancakes, blended into oatmeal & smoothies, or right from the jar.
Libra Chili Lime Meal Bar
An all natural meal bar made with whole food ingredients including dates, egg whites, cashews, and almonds. It’s designed to be a meal replacement bar, which is evident by the fact that it contains a whopping 500 calories per serving. However, it also has 31 grams of protein, 9 grams of fiber, and zero trans fats.
PlantFusion Red Velvet Cake Complete Protein
Ooh! — I don’t think I’ve ever seen a vegan red velvet cake flavored protein powder before. Yum! This one from PlantFusion is made with an amino acid infused protein blend that’s comparable to animal proteins like whey. It’s naturally flavored and is fortified with digestive enzymes. It’s also dairy free, soy free, gluten free, and free of many other major allergens.
Enlightened Garlic & Onion Crunchy Broad Beans
These roasted broad (fava) beans are a great alternative to nuts, chips, or even croutons. Each serving contains just 100 calories, 7 grams of protein, 5 grams of fiber, and only 1 gram of sugar.
Hippeas Vegan White Cheddar Organic Chickpea Puffs
Chickpea puffs! — These morsels of puffed goodness are 100% vegan and made with all natural/organic ingredients including chickpea flour, rice flour, sunflower oil, seasonings, and pea hull fiber. All of the flavors are good, but this Vegan White Cheddar one is definitely my favorite. So good!
That’s It Bars
These bars are made with just two ingredients: Apples & figs. — That’s it! (Hence the name.) Can’t get simpler than that. Well, aside from actual fresh fruit anyway.
Teaonic My Gut Mojo Digestion Herbal Wellness Shot
This ready-to-drink wellness shot is packed with “gut-loving” herbs, juices, and plant extracts — all chosen to aid in digestion. Ingredients include organic aloe juice, cranberry juice, ginger juice, hibiscus flower, and cinnamon extract powder. It contains no added sugars, sweeteners, artificial flavors, or preservatives and is both vegan-friendly and gluten free.
November’s Fit Snack box included a nice selection of snacks, bars, and and more. My favorite items this time were the Nairn’s Gluten Free Grahams (SO good!), PlantFusion Red Velvet Protein Powder, and Hippeas Chickpea Puffs. 🙂 — Remember, for a limited time you can save 30% on your first box!
