October 2018 Fit Snack review time!
If you’re new to them, Fit Snack is a snack subscription box that’s curated to include items that are both well balanced and nutrient dense. When selecting products to include in the box, they use the Fit Snack “Perfect 10″. Put simply, they look for snacks that fall into one or more of these categories: Nutrient Dense (high in protein, complex carbs, low sugar index), Consciously Made (GMO free, organic production, sustainably farmed), and Diversified Energy (gluten free, clean eating, paleo, raw).
Disclosure: I received this box for review purposes. I was not compensated in any way. All opinions are my own. Post may contain affiliate and/or referral links.
Each box will contain 6 to 9 healthy (yet satisfying) items that have total retail value of at least $30. While most of the items fall into the “snack” category, they also send cooking mixes, supplements, beverages, and more.
Subscriptions are $24/month (shipping included), or less with longer, multi-month commitments. It also looks like they ship worldwide. — For a limited time, you can save 30% on your first box! No coupon needed, just click this link.
Let’s see what’s in the October 2018 Fit Snack box!
The familiar white & turquoise box was shipped via Priority Mail.

An info card listed all of the snacks, as well as accompanying photos, short descriptions, and discount codes for each item.
Munk Pack Coconut White Chocolate Macadamia Protein Cookie
I haven’t seen one of these protein cookies pop up in a subscription box in quite some time, so I was happy to see it in this month’s Fit Snack box. Not only is it vegan-friendly, non-GMO, and gluten-free, but it also contains an impressive 18 grams of protein! Oh, and it tastes pretty darn good too.
SmashPack Orange Peach Protein Smoothie
Ideal for a pre-workout energy boost, post-workout recovery snack, or just a quick snack on the go, this convenient protein smoothie provides 14 grams of high quality protein. It’s made with real fruit and contains no added sugar. It’s also gluten-free.
Love Grown Foods Cinnamon Lion Loops
This vegan-friendly kid’s cereal is made with wholesome ingredients including navy, lentil, and garbanzo beans. It’s gluten-free and has 3 grams of protein per serving. My girls love this brand and we buy their “Comet Crispies” on a weekly basis.
Just the Cheese Aged Cheddar Snack
A savory, low-carb snack made only with 100% all natural Wisconsin cheese. Each serving has as much protein & calcium as a glass of milk and contains no MSG, wheat, or sugar.
Vahdam Tea Sampler
Fit Snack has featured Vahdam teas in the past, but I think this is the first time I’ve gotten single-serve tea bags (they’re usually loose leaf). I received 5 different varieties to sample: High Mountain Oolong, Turmeric Spiced Herbal Tea, Himalayan Green Tea, Mint Melody Green Tea, and India’s Original Chai Tea. I can’t wait to try them all!
RX Vanilla Almond Butter
A nut & protein spread made with almonds, egg whites, dates, coconut oil, sea salt, natural vanilla flavor, and vanilla beans. As a vegan, I’d prefer they didn’t ruin perfectly good nut butter with eggs, but that’s just me.
Vintage Italia Marinara Pasta Chips
These crunchy baked snacks are made with semolina flour and have 60% less fat than regular chips. They’re also vegan-friendly and have just 120 calories per serving.
Geo Protein Cookie Dough Protein Bars
Made with only whole foods, these prebiotic protein bars contain 20 grams of whey protein, 15 grams of fiber, and just 6 grams of sugar. They contain zero artificial flavors or sweeteners and are gluten-free.
October’s Fit Snack box featured a nice mix of old favorites and new discoveries. My personal favorite items this time were the Love Grown Lion Loops, Munk Pack protein cookie, Vahdam tea sampler, and Pasta Chips. — Remember, for a limited time you can save 30% on your first box!
