Flicker & Flame is a subscription box that sends you a handmade, limited edition soy candle every month.
Each scent will be unique and will often evoke the “mood” of the current season. Think florals and fruity notes in the warmer months, and notes of pine and cinnamon in the cooler months. When you sign up, you’ll take a 30 second quiz to help determine your scent preferences so they can send you the candles you’re most likely to enjoy. Every Flicker & Flame candle is handmade with a soy wax blend and has a burn time of roughly 40 hours.
Subscriptions are $25/month with free shipping. For a limited time, you can save $10 on your first month with coupon code “SmellGreat“!
Let’s check out the December 2015 Flicker & Flame Box!
The candle was shipped in a small white box via priority mail.
Inside the shipping box was a smaller, beautifully packaged black box which held the candle.
So pretty! Every Flicker & Flame candle is packaged in a custom box and wrapped in a decorative ribbon — perfect for gifting!
December’s featured scent was “Holiday Cookies”, which has a “strong butterscotch base, with the addition of vanilla and raisin, and top notes of cinnamon”. Since each candle is custom made based on your scent preferences, yours may be altered to better suit your likes. For example, for those who prefer florals they’ll add more orange blossom to complement the butterscotch and make the scent lighter. Although I didn’t get to customize mine, I thought the scent was fantastic — like warm holiday baked goods right out of the oven. Mmm!
December’s Flicker & Flame box was perfect for the holidays. The candle was beautifully packaged and the featured scent couldn’t have been better. Who doesn’t love the smell of freshly baked cookies? Oh, and for the holiday season, they’re offering a ‘Seasonal Sampler Pack’ of four 7oz candles (one for each season) for $45 — great for gifting!
Remember — if you’d like to sign up you can save $10 on your first month with coupon code “SmellGreat“!
