August 2018 Graze box review time!
If you haven’t heard, Graze is an affordable snack subscription that features over 100 unique snack options that you can filter to best suit your taste/diet. Each box contains 8 (previously 4) different snacks and you can choose to receive a box weekly or once every two weeks.
Disclosure: I received this box for review purposes. I was not compensated in any way. All opinions are my own. Post may contain affiliate and/or referral links.
Graze is totally customizable and suitable for almost any diet. They have a filtering system that lets you “trash” any snack that contains something you don’t like so you’ll never receive it in your box. For example, since I’m vegan, I was able to automatically select all of the snacks that contained cheese, as well as the ones that contained milk and mark them all as “trash”. This ensures that I’ll never receive any snacks that contain cheese or milk. You have the ability to rate all of the snacks before (and after) you try them. So if something looks really good and you hope to see it in your box at some point, you can rate it as “love”. It’s a nice system and seems to work really well, based on the snacks I received.
Subscriptions are $11.99/box for 8 snacks, but you can also try a FREE 4-snack sampler (just pay $1 shipping).
Let’s see what’s in my latest Graze box!
Everything was shipped in a small orange box with the Graze logo on top.
A peek inside!
The back of the insert card listed all of the snacks in my box, as well as nutritional info and ingredients for each one. (The text is pretty tiny, but much easier to actually read in person.)
Cocoa & Vanilla Protein Flapjack
Flapjacks are always a welcome addition to any Graze box. 🙂 I think this is the first time I’ve received this particular flavor, which is a sweet mix of both cocoa and vanilla flavored rolled oats, seeds, and other all natural ingredients. Yum!
Fantastic Forest Fruits
This tasty all-fruit mix consists of dried blueberries, lingonberries, chewy apple pieces, and cherry flavored raisins. Each serving has 2 grams of fiber and just 80 calories.
Graze’s Popping Corn (Lightly Salted)
When you rate your snacks prior to receiving your first Graze box (to determine your taste profile), you can state whether or not you have a microwave. I believe this is the only snack that requires the use of one, so if you’re not into microwave popcorn, you should probably say you don’t have access to the appliance. 😉 This “popping corn” is lightly salted and has just 130 calories per bag.
Cinnamon Banana Energiser
This is a newer offering that features a flavorful combination of cinnamon honey almonds, chewy banana coins, pecans, and raisins. A nice variety of flavors and textures to keep things interesting!
Banana Oat Squares
Similar to the beloved Flapjacks, these banana oat squares are made with hearty rolled oats and a blend of seeds for a filling mid-afternoon snack. They also contain lucuma, a subtly sweet Peruvian superfruit that’s a natural source of contains beta carotene, iron, zinc, vitamin B3, calcium, and protein.
Tropical Energizer Smoothie
This is a newer snack that I’ve only received once before. It features chewy spirulina bites, almonds, goldenberries, and a sea of coconut flakes. It has just 150 calories and 5 grams of filling fiber.
Garden of England (x2)
Another “all fruit” mix consisting of mini strawberries, soft apple pieces, and blackcurrants. Last month I received two duplicate snacks, so it was nice to see just one dupe this time. 😉
Another great selection of vegan-friendly, pre-portioned snacks from Graze! — Remember, if you want to give Graze a try you can get a FREE 4-snack sampler (just pay $1 shipping)! No coupon code needed.
