January 2018 Graze box review time!
If you haven’t heard, Graze is an affordable snack subscription that features over 100 unique snack options that you can filter to best suit your taste/diet. Each box contains 8 (previously 4) different snacks and you can choose to receive a box weekly or once every two weeks.
Disclosure: I received this box for review purposes. I was not compensated in any way. All opinions are my own. Post may contain affiliate and/or referral links.
Graze is totally customizable and suitable for almost any diet. They have a filtering system that lets you “trash” any snack that contains something you don’t like so you’ll never receive it in your box. For example, since I’m vegan, I was able to automatically select all of the snacks that contained cheese, as well as the ones that contained milk and mark them all as “trash”. This ensures that I’ll never receive any snacks that contain cheese or milk. You have the ability to rate all of the snacks before (and after) you try them. So if something looks really good and you hope to see it in your box at some point, you can rate it as “love”. It’s a nice system and seems to work really well, based on the snacks I received.
Subscriptions are $11.99/box for 8 snacks, but you can also try a FREE 4-snack sampler (just pay $1 shipping).
Let’s see what’s in my latest Graze box!
The little brown Graze box.
A peek inside!
The back of the insert card listed all of the snacks in my box, as well as nutritional info and ingredients for each one. (The text is pretty tiny, but much easier to actually read in person.)
Snickerdoodle Dip
Oh, SnickerDoodle Dip, how I’ve missed you.. This is one of my all time favorite Graze snacks — crunchy cinnamon pretzel sticks with their own lil’ tub of snickerdoodle dip! An indulgent treat with just 150 calories per pack.
Baobab & Raspberry Clusters
I’ve tried this superfood snack once before and wasn’t really a fan. However, I decided to give it another go and it was a lot better than I remembered. Yay! It contains a fiber-filled mix of coconut chips, baobab powder, raspberries, pumpkin seeds, apple pieces, and more. — An ideal blend of both tarty & sweet.
Cacao & Orange with Dates & Raw Almonds
More superfoods! This is a newer offering and features a mix of chopped dates, almonds, and cacao orange fruit pieces sweetened with fruit juice & natural orange flavoring. Each serving (pack) contains 4 grams of both fiber and protein.
Kettlecorn Kern Pops
These little half-popped corn kernels have the perfect combo of both sweet and salty, along with a satisfying crunch. Ingredients include corn, soybean oil, brown sugar, and salt.
Summer Berry Flapjack
Flapjacks are another Graze favorite of mine. They’re a bit like a granola bar, only with a more homemade taste/feel to ’em. They’re available in a variety of different flavors and I haven’t tried one I didn’t love. 🙂
Sweet Rhubarb Jam
This looks to be another new offering (at least to me, since I’ve never gotten it before). It’s a sweet, fruity mix of dried rhubarb slices, soft apple pieces, and cranberries. To be honest, I’m not a big fan of rhubarb, but I’ll definitely enjoy the other two fruits.
New York Everything Bagel
When I first took this out of the box, I immediately assumed that they had made a mistake and sent me a non-vegan snack. “Cheese cashews” couldn’t be cheese-less, could they? Welp, according to the nutritional info, they are! Instead of real cheese, they use a natural “cheese flavor seasoning” which appears to be completely vegan-friendly. Cool!
Vitamin E Defense
A good source of Vitamin E, this contains a mix of hazelnuts, peanuts, cranberries, and raisins. — The perfect guilt-free afternoon snack!
It had been a while since I’d reviewed Graze and this box reminded me how fun it is to receive their pre-portioned servings of snackin’ goodness. Yum!! 😀 — Remember, if you want to give Graze a try you can get a FREE 4-snack sampler (just pay $1 shipping)! No coupon code needed.
