January 2018 SnackSack review time!
If you haven’t heard, SnackSack is a subscription box that focuses on delivering natural, “junk-free” snacks to your door every month. Every box will contain a mixture of all natural, vegan, organic, non-GMO, gluten-free, and fair trade products. They also have an all-vegan box option, as well as one that’s entirely gluten-free.
Disclosure: I received this box for review purposes. I was not compensated in any way. All opinions are my own. Post may contain affiliate and/or referral links.
Subscriptions are $22/month for the Classic box, or $24/month for the Vegan and Gluten Free options. All boxes ship free within the US ($9.99 to Canada) & discounts are available for multi-month plans. — For a limited time, you can save 10% for LIFE (includes all future renewals) with coupon code “ROSE″!
Let’s see what’s in the January 2018 Vegan SnackSack!
Everything was shipped in their signature white and green box with the “sack” logo on top.
A peek inside!
A full-color info sheet listed everything inside, along with helpful symbols next to each one indicating whether it’s vegan, gluten-free, and/or non-GMO. It also included ways to earn free snacks, a coupon code, and more.
SnackSack has retired their original burlap sack and now sends a handy, more attractive reusable tote to subscribers instead. (You’ll receive it in your first box and can refill it with new SnackSack snacks each month after.)
I love kettlecorn, but only tend to buy it at carnivals/fairs — so it’s always fun when it pops (ha!) up in subscription boxes. This variety is made with non-GMO corn and is flavored with sugar, sunflower oil, and salt. It’s both gluten-free and vegan-friendly. Yum!
This zesty snack bar has just three simple ingredients — apples, pears, and ginger. There’s absolutely no added sugar, fat, or preservatives. It’s vegan, gluten-free, raw, and non-GMO.
I’m always up for trying new vegan-friendly snack bars! This one features a blend of chocolate chips, almond pieces, dried cranberries, cashew butter, coconut nectar, and other natural ingredients to help you fuel through your day.
Flame-baked naan chips made with whole grain flour and flavored with sea salt. They’re non-GMO, vegan friendly, and perfect for dipping. I had gotten these in another snack box last month and really enjoyed ’em.
Wat-U-See Popped Chickpeatos
These little green corn puffs are made with a blend of green peas, rice, chickpeas, sunflower oil, and sea salt. They’re much like cheese puffs, minus the cheese — but still with plenty of flavor. One serving has 3 grams of fiber, 3 grams of protein, and only 100 calories.
An organic, sugar-free sparkling energy water made with real fruit and energizing green tea. It’s lightly carbonated and has zero preservatives, taurine, artificial caffeine, artificial flavors or sweeteners.
My daughters both LOVE these fig bars and have been eating them almost daily for about a year now. They were a subscription box discovery and we just can’t get enough of ’em. They’re made with ancient grains including teff & amaranth and they’re also free of high fructose corn syrup, artificial colors, flavors, and preservatives.
Vegan gummies! It’s hard to find a gummy candy that doesn’t include gelatin, so this was a nice surprise. The little flower-shaped candies are made with 20% fruit juice and contain no artificial flavors or colors.
A healthy, portable snack made with just one ingredient: organic apples. There are no preservatives or sugars added and each pouch has just 60 calories.
Roasted chickpea snacks flavored with vegan-friendly ranch seasoning. These have 75% less fat than dry roasted peanuts and each serving has 6 grams of protein & 7 grams of fiber.
A 100% natural vegan snack bar made with wholesome ingredients including organic whole rolled oats, almond butter, dried cranberries, raisins, oat bran, almonds, pumpkin seeds, and more. Yum!
These bite-sized dark chocolate bars are infused with ginseng/chia for a tasty boost of both antioxidants and nutrients to keep you going. I tried the ginseng one already and it was quite good!
Another month, another awesome collection of goodies from SnackSack! My favorites this time were the Skratch Energy Bar, Chickpeatos, North Coast Applesauce, Oogie’s Kettlecorn, and Nature’s Bakery Fig Bar. 🙂 — Remember, if you’d like to try out SnackSack for yourself, you can save 10% for LIFE with coupon code “ROSE″!
