Color Me Monthly is a fun nail polish subscription service that sends one seasonal color to you every month.
All of their polishes are “free of toluene, formaldehyde/formaldehyde resin, dibutyl phthalate (DBP), and camphor” — aka non-toxic. Animal testing is also a big no-no (their polishes are vegan!) and they try to work with vendors who share that sentiment. Awesome!
Oh, and did I mention that Color Me Monthly is only $7/month (shipping included)? Double awesome!
I was sent their January “box” for review and was excited to see what color I’d get. Let’s have a look!
Here’s the box it was shipped in. Nothing fancy here, folks. But that’s how they keep the costs so low. I’m totally fine with the lack of paper squigglies and pink-hued custom boxes if it means paying just $7 a month for a quality polish sent to my door.
Word. Up.
This month’s polish was “Seven Sisters” — a beautiful shade of deep blue with a hint of glitter, comparable to the night’s starlit sky. (Too poetic? I’m new to this polish reviewin’ thing.)
The polish was pretty in the bottle, but I totally fell in love with it once I put it on. Seriously. I painted my nails about a week ago and I still find myself looking at them and admiring the color.
My photo doesn’t quite do the polish justice, but trust me — it’s awesome. Also, I took this yesterday, nearly a week after I first applied it. Very minimal wear. LOVE it.
Anyone else ever try Color Me Monthly? I’m definitely impressed! 🙂
Disclosure: I received this product for review purposes. I was not compensated in any way. All opinions are my own.

The reason for the packaging is because they are Earth friendly as well! Great review though, I just ordered a year subscription for my girlfriend.
