Spoiler alert: This month’s Kloverbox is… AWESOME! (100 cool mom points if you got the “Yo Gabba Gabba” reference there.)
If you’re still new to them, Kloverbox is a monthly subscription box that features eco-friendly products ranging anywhere from snacks and personal products to makeup, household goods, and more. The purpose of the box is to introduce you to “cleaner” versions of the products you use on a daily basis. The subscription is $25/month (shipping included) or less with longer commitments. (Psst… You can save 10% off any length subscription when you use my exclusive coupon code “2LRB10” at checkout!!)
The theme for April is “Spring makes everything young again”.
Let the April Kloverbox unboxing begin!
You’re very welcome, Kloverbox.
The detailed info card lists and describes each product in the box, as well as retail prices and coupon codes.
Old Orchard No. 10 Baobab & Rosehip Lotion Bar ($28) – FULL SIZE! How pretty is this lotion bar? It’s made with natural and organic ingredients including shea butter, baobab seed oil, mango seed butter, and beeswax. It also contains sweet orange oil which gives it a light citrus scent.
Kosmatology Goody-Goody Grapefruit Foaming Hand Soap ($8.99) – Is it weird that I got excited over receiving hand soap in a subscription box? Cos I totally did. Plus, grapefruit is one of my favorite scents. It also doesn’t hurt that this soap is foaming, paraben/sulfate-free, and made with all natural ingredients. Yessss!
Bridge Nine Candle Co. Citrus Candle ($9) – Hey, remember when I said I love the smell of grapefruit? Hell-oooo grapefruit-scented candle! Heck yeah! This 4-ounce candle is made of all natural soy wax, fragrance oils, and features a cotton wick. It’s hand-poured in Portland, OR and has a burn time of 20 hours. LOVE this!
Real Beauty for a Cause Coffee Scrub ($7.50) – Mmm… I don’t *need* any more scrubs at the moment, but this one smells amazing. It contains a blend of coffee, himalayan sea salt, avocado oil, and cinnamon essential oil. All of Real Beauty for a Cause’s products are 100% natural and with each one sold they donate 25% to charity. Nice!
Rani’s Yummy Shooters in Chocolate Yum ($1.99) – A portable granola “shooter” for on-the-go snacking. Made with all natural ingredients including oats, agave nectar, and (sadly for me) butter.
Note: The next item was only included for those who also received March’s box. It’s a replacement for the toner that had bottling/packaging issues.
Urban Oreganics Brush Cleaner ($16) – This came at the perfect time. I’ve only recently started using makeup brushes (i’ve always just used my fingers!), and I’ve yet to really clean them. Like, at all. I just never thought about it. Plus, I wasn’t sure how. This solid cleaner is made of 100% natural ingredients including coconut oil and hemp oil. You just wet your brush, swirl it over the cleaner until it gets sudsy, then rinse. Easy!
I LOVE this month’s Kloverbox! My favorite one this year. So many great, useful products and a crazy high value too — $55.48! That’s only including April’s items (not the replacement brush cleaner). How do they do it?!
If you’d like to check out Kloverbox for yourself, you can save 10% off any length subscription when you use my exclusive coupon code “2LRB10” at checkout!

Love your box review but kinda disappointed with the coffee scrub (basically they gave you the recipe if you are a DIY).
